Introduction


NPAT (National Test for Programs After Twelfth) is a national level entrance exam conducted by NMIMS, Mumbai (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies). NPAT offers admission to interested and eligible candidates in the undergraduate (UG) and Integrated degree programmes in various schools of NMIMS at Mumbai, Bengaluru, Shirpur, Indore and Navi Mumbai campuses. It provides admission in the courses of Management, Architecture, Engineering, Commerce, Pharmacy, Law, Economics, Science, Design, Liberal Arts, Aviation, etc.  The expected release date of official notification for NPAT 2019 is around January 2019.

NPAT 2019 Exam Date


The NPAT 2019 examination will be conducted in the second week of May 2019.

The NPAT exam is a computer based online exam. 

Medium of Examination


The NPAT exam 2019 will be conducted in English Language only.

NPAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria


The Eligibility Criteria for NPAT 2019 Examination is as described under.

Qualifying Exam

Candidates should have completed their Higher Secondary Exam (10 + 2) from a recognised board. Students appearing for 12th Examination may also apply.

Candidates must have secured at least 50% in the qualifying exam.

Age Limit

The maximum allowed age for applicants is 25 years.

NPAT 2019 Registration


Candidates will have to apply for NPAT 2019 registration in online mode only.

The NPAT 2019 application form will begin from the 1st week of February 2019. Candidates will be allowed to fill and submit the application form till the 4th week of April 2019.

The application fee for NPAT 2019 varies according to the number of schools chosen by the applicants for admission. The details are tabulated below:

NPAT 2019 Admit Card


The NPAT 2019 Admit Card is likely to be made available in the 2nd week of May 2019.

The admit card will be made available through online mode only.

Candidates will have to paste their recent photograph on the admit card.

Exam Pattern for NPAT


NPAT 2019 will be a computer-based test (CBT) comprising of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

For all courses except Designing, only one single Paper is conducted (called Paper I). In case of design courses, however, two papers are conducted.

Common Paper (All courses Except Design)


The exam pattern pertaining to all courses except Design has been summarized below.

  • Time Allotted: 100 minutes

For every correct answer, one mark is allotted to candidates while a deduction of 1/4 mark is made for every incorrect answer.

Design Programs

  • Total No. of Questions: 120 + 60
  • Time Allotted: 100 minutes + 90 minutes

NPAT Result 2019


NPAT result 2019 are likely to be announced in the 4th week of May 2019. NPAT result 2019 would be available in their official website.

Counselling


NPAT 2019 counselling is likely to begin from the 3rd week of June. It will be conducted through offline mode, that is, the presence of candidate in person is a must.

Candidates are required to download their admission letter in order to attend the counselling.

Candidates can choose the courses they are interested to apply at the time of counselling.

Candidates can also choose the colleges they are interested to apply.

The candidates will be granted admission solely based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam as well as on the availability of seats.
