Analysis of Test Paper of  NEET- 2021 held on 12/09/2021

NEET-2021, the National-level Medical entrance exam conducted on Sunday, 12 September, 2021in pen paper mode & in 13 languages. According to reports, around 16+ lakh students appeared in the entrance exam this year.

Following are the highlights & analysis of exam paper;-

(i)  As per NEET aspirants, overall paper was moderate but tough than last year.

(ii) Due to new pattern of the exam, students were little confused and therefore, certain number of questions could not be attempted.

(iii) Physics and Chemistry papers were little tough with reference to last year papers.

(iv) Almost 90% paper of physics was conceptual and NCERT based. So, it was little tough.  Some are of  the opinion that reason based questions have been 1st time asked in NEET. Also in Physics, weigtage of numerical based questions were higher and level of almost 05 questions were higher than NCERT syllabus.

(v) There were more numerical  based questions in physics; therefore, in general, aspirants felt that paper was tough.

(vi) Majority of students are of the opinion that, Chemistry paper was easy however, certain questions were tough.

(vii) Questions of Botony and Zoology were NCERT based.

(viii) It is felt that due to overall tough paper this year, cut off may come down. Cut off may vary from 598 to 610. And it is likely that selection will be more and less will depend on performance of student in Physics.
