Introduction

IIFT 2020 is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade), an autonomous public business school, located in Delhi. Through the IIFT Entrance exam, candidates can get admission to MBA-IB course taught at IIFT. The selection process has 02 stages – Written Exam followed by a Personal Interview round.

IIFT entrance exam is one of the most sought after MBA entrance exam due to the great reputation and great placements of IIFT New Delhi.

IIFT 2020 Exam Date

IIFT 2020 exam for MBA IB admissions will be conducted offline (Paper-Pen) in the 1st December, 2019.

Mode of Examination

IIFT exam will be conducted in ENGLISH language only.

Type of Examination

IIFT IB entrance test is an Offline entrance test wherein students report their answers through OMR Sheets.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Aspirants must have completed a minimum 3-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized university.

Apart from compulsory graduation, the candidate should have secured minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks in the same.

Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

Nationality

Both Indian and Foreign nationals can apply for the examination.

Foreign nationals and NRIs can apply with only with a valid GMAT score (not older than Jan 1, 2018)

Age Limit

Candidates of any age can apply for IIFT admissions.

IIFT Selection Procedure

Indian Nationals

Marks obtained in the IIFT Entrance Test 2020 forms the basis for candidates being called for writing skill assessment, Group Discussion and Interview.

Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI

On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) Score, applicants are shortlisted to appear for a Personal Interview at IIFT campus before being absorbed as students by IIFT.

IIFT application form 2020 has been made available from 9th September 2019 and the applications will close on 25th October 2019.

Application forms will only be available in digital formats on the official website of IIFT.

Application Fee

An amount of INR 1650 shall be collected from IIFT as application fee for IIFT IB 2020.

However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories, the application fee shall be INR 825.

For candidates belonging to NRI/FN category, the amount is US$85.

IIFT 2020 Admit Card

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) shall release the IIFT MBA IB Admit Card 2020 on 11th November 2019 on its official website.

Candidates will have the facility to download the admit card by logging in with their registration number and password.

IIFT Examination Pattern 2020

IIFT 2020 will be a 2-hour long Pen/Paper based test, divided across 04 sections:

English Language: Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension
General Knowledge & Current Affairs
Logical Reasoning
Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis.

IIFT entrance exam, being different from other entrance exam, doesn’t possess a fixed marking scheme or fixed number of questions. The pattern varies slightly every year. Therefore, for the benefit of students, we have compared the IIFT Exam Pattern for last 03 years. Please do read for higher chance of selection!!

IIFT 2020 Results

Post successful conduction of the IIFT entrance exam 2020, the conducting body shall publish the results for the written test on 11th December 2019.

Candidates would be able to check their results by logging in through their respective credentials. Further, the list of candidates selected for next rounds of screening shall also be published in PDF format on the official website.

Foreign Nationals will be shortlisted based on score of GMAT and personal interview.

Counselling Procedure

After checking the scorecard, candidates who scored marks equivalent or higher than the qualifying marks will be called for GD, PI and further rounds. These screening rounds will be held in the month of January or February, 2020.

Post the conclusion of all screening rounds, final results will be published on the official website of IIFT 2020 entrance test. Once the seat allotment is done, the students will have to undergo document verification round and produce all original documents at the time of counseling.

Ques.: What is the fee for IIFT?

Answer: The application fee for IIFT 2020 has been tabulated above. It is INR 1650 for General, 825 for SC/ST/PWD and US$85 for NRIs/FN. You can read about IIFT Fee Structure in detail.

Ques.: Is IIFT IB 2020 an On-line examination?

Answer: No. Based on previous year papers, it can be concluded that IIFT 2020 will also be an Offline test.
