MBBS Admission – 2019 Session
1. Candidates desiring admission for MBBS Course at AFMC, Pune will have to qualify the NEET UG – 2019 examination conducted by National Testing Agency. It is mandatory for Eligible candidates to register and apply for AFMC, Pune on DGHS website: www.mcc.nic.in through registration window provided by the DGHS after declaration of the result of NEET (UG) . Candidates are advised to visit the above website for details.
2. The shortlisted candidates would be called for Test of English Language, Comprehension,Logic and Reasoning (ToELR), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination which will be be held in the month of June / July at AFMC, Pune.

Introduction
AFMC 2019 is an annually held admission process for M.B.B.S admissions to the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. The admissions are through a 03 stage process involving NEET UG scores, ToELR + PAT test (Screening Process) and Personal Interview. Based on the NEET UG 2019 Merit List, the candidates will be shortlisted for TOELR (Test of English Language & Comprehension and Logical Reasoning), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT) and Personal Interview rounds. The official notification for AFMC MBBS 2019 is likely to be released in the 4th week of April 2019.

AFMC MBBS Seat Matrix
The admission process shall be undertaken for a total of 145 seats at AFMC Pune campus. The division of these seats is as follows:
- Male Candidates = 117 seats
- Female candidates = 28 seats
- SC/ST = 10 seats (Out of 145)
- Foreign candidates from friendly countries = 05
AFMC 2019 Exam Date
AFMC MBBS 2019 merit list shall be prepared on NTA National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2019 scores.
Post the publication of merit list, screening process shall take place during the 2nd – 3rd week of July 2019. The screening process involves following tests:
- ToELR (Test of English Language & Comprehension and Logical Reasoning),
- Psychological Assessment Test (PAT),
- Personal Interview.
Mode of Answering
AFMC 2019 ToELR and PAT shall be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT).
Medium of Examination
AFMC prescribes ENGLISH as the only medium for the examination.
AFMC MBBS Eligibility Criteria
AFMC MBBS 2019 comprises of following eligibility clauses:
Nationality
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Marital Status
Candidate must be unmarried to be eligible to apply. Moreover, getting married during the course is not permitted.
Sex
Both male and female candidates can apply for AFMC MBBS 2019 Admissions.
Age Limit
Lower age limit is 17 years and Upper age limit is 24 years as on 31st Dec 2019.
Conclusively, an aspirant must have born between 1st January 1996 and 31st December 2002.
Educational qualification
The candidate must have passed the 10+2 board examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects from a recognized educational board.
Candidate must have secured 60% marks in aggregate in PCB, with 50% marks in each subject, including English.
The candidate must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10th.
AFMC Application Form 2019
Only online applications are accepted for AFMC 2019.
AFMC 2019 application forms are likely to be available from the 2nd week of April 2019 for MBBS admissions.
Candidate can register online and fill the application by visiting the official website.
Application fee
AFMC MBBS 2019 application fee can be paid only through the SBI Fee challan.

Application Procedure
As stated before, AFMC MBBS application forms shall be available from 2nd week of April 2019.
However, based on last year’s portal, we have summarised the following steps:
Step I: Registration
Visit the official website and register using details such as Name, e-mail ID, mobile number, etc.
After successful registration, will be allotted an application ID and password for managing all future logins.
Also, post successful login, candidates are advised to complete their application form by providing all necessary details as indicated by fields.
Step II: Payment of Application Fee
Once the candidate has successfully filled the AFMC application form for MBBS, a fee payment challan will be generated. The candidate can pay the fee using the challan at any SBI branch.
On successful payment, the candidates need to print the e-receipt containing a reference number that may be noted for future reference.
Step III: Final Submission
The candidates can now submit the completed AFMC Application Form 2019.
Further, it is advised to take a print out of filled in Application Form for future reference.
AFMC Screening Process
Post the submission of application forms for AFMC 2019, a merit list shall be prepared, inviting students for following stages of selection:
- ToELR (Test of English Language & Comprehension and Logical Reasoning),
- Psychological Assessment Test (PAT),
- Personal Interview.
ToELR
Duration: The exam duration will be 30 minutes.
Type of Question: There will be objective type (MCQ)
Total Number of Questions: 40 MCQs
Total marks: 80
Marking Scheme: 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The scores of ToELR exam shall be added to NEET 2019 scores. Post this addition a normalised score shall be generated by dividing the scores with 4.
On completion of TOELR, the candidates will have to undergo Psychological Assessment Test and Personal Interview round to clear AFMC 2019.
AFMC 2019 Results
A merit list will be prepared based on the candidates score in NEET, TOELR and Interview which will be published by the 1st week of August 2019.
Document Verification
The selected candidates who make it to the AFMC 2019 MBBS Merit list will be offered admissions into AFMC Pune campus. In case of vacancies, Waitlisted candidates will be allotted seats.
The candidates must visit the campus in person with all the necessary original documents to complete the admission process. Documents required at time of admission for AFMC MBBS 2019:
- Class 10th mark-sheet
- Pass certificate of class 10th
- Class 12th mark-sheet
- Pass certificate of class 12th
- Character certificate
- Date of birth proof
- Aadhar card
- Income proof of parents
