Latest VITEEE 2018 Updates
As per media reports, VITEEE 2018 results are expected to be released on 25th April 2018.
VITEEE 2018 application portal is closed now.
The VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination) is an entrance exam for engineering which is conducted at a national level. The exam is organized by VIT University and conducted in more than 118 cities all over the country. The candidates who qualify the examination are eligible for admission in VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal & AP campuses. VITEEE 2018 official notification will be released in the 1st week of November 2017. Every year approximately 2 lakh students appear for this examination.

VITEEE 2018 Exam Date
VITEEE 2018 shall be conducted beginning from 4th April 2018 and ending in 15th April 2018.
Mode of Answering
VITEEE test will be a computer-based test (CBT) i.e. candidates have to use computers to report answers.
Medium of Examination
VITEEE exam will have ENGLISH as the only medium of answering.

VITEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Aspiring candidates must be either Indian Nationals or Non-Resident Indians or OCI or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO).
Foreign Nationals are not eligible for VITEEE 2018.
Onlt those applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1996 are eligible to apply.
The candidate should have passed 12th with PCM with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks required in all three subjects.
SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states candidate should have scored above 50% aggregate marks in PCM.
For B.Tech in Bio-Medical Engineering and Biotechnology programmes, instead of Mathematics, the above-needed marks should be there in Biology.
NIOS candidates are also eligible to apply.
How to Apply for VITEEE 2018?
VITEEE 2018 application portal is closed now.
The admission forms will be available both online and offline from 1st November 2017.
The online application form will be available only on the official website of VIT University i.e. http://vtop2.vit.ac.in:8080/VITEEE/
Offline application forms will be provided from the designated post offices and the VIT university campus.

VITEEE 2018 Exam Pattern
VITEEE 2018 will be a computer-based test (CBT) with the medium of answering as English.
The test will consist of 125 questions in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format. The questions shall be drawn from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology subjects. The duration of the entire exam is 2 hour and 30 minutes.
There is no negative marking and each correct answer will fetch 1 mark.
VITEEE 2018 Answer Key
The official answer key for VITEEE 2018 will be available in June 2018 on the official website.
Candidates can check their answers with the official answer key to evaluate their performance. The answer key can also be challenged if the candidates are not satisfied with their marks.
Upon successfully applying for VITEEE 2018, applicants will be provided with the opportunity of choosing the date of examination along with session (morning, afternoon or evening).
Slot booking has begun from 21st March 2018. Visit http://otbs.centralindia.cloudapp.azure.com/VITOTBS/Default.aspx to book the dates.
VITEEE 2018 admit cards will be released after successful slot booking.
Once the candidate has booked a slot, the e-admit card will be generated. The e-admit card for VITEEE 2018 will contain details such as the name of a candidate, application number, date-time-center for the test, candidate’s photograph and signature.
The results of VITEEE 2018 will be declared in the 25th April 2018. Candidates can check their results online from the official website.
VITEEE 2018 Counseling
VITEEE 2018 counseling will take place in two phases for the candidates who have cleared the examination. The candidates will be allotted seat on the basis of the rank secured by them in the VITEEE entrance exam. It is mandatory for the candidates to attend the counseling in person. The information and details of the counseling will be provided to candidates via SMS and email. Failure of the candidate to appear at the counseling on the allotted date and time will result in a cancellation of his candidature.
The shortlisted candidates can take part in the counseling once their documents have been verified.

Candidates must bring the following essential documents along with their photocopies at the time of the counseling:
- Demand Draft of Rs. 50,000 in favor of “VIT University” payable at Vellore.
- VITEEE-2017 e-Admit Card, Counselling Admit card and
VITEEE Result copy.
- Class X Board Certificate as a proof of date of birth or any age proving Certificate.
- Mark sheet of Qualifying Examination (if available).
- Community Certificate (For SC/ST only).
- Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and
Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh,
Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and
