The counselling for will be held on following dates at the prescribed venue:
1 TANCET MCA : 17/09/2021 to 21/09/2021
2 TANCET MBA: 22/09/2021 to 27/09/2021
Mode of Registration for Counselling
TANCET Counselling registrations will be conducted in online mode only.
TANCET 2021 ( for MBA & MCA) counselling fees:
The category wise counselling application fee is as follows:

For admission in MBA:
1 Candidates should have appeared for the TANCET 2021 (MBA) Examination conducted by Anna University Chennai,
Chennai 600 025 and should produce TANCET 2021 (MBA) Mark Sheet issued by Anna University Chennai.
For admission in MCA:
2 Candidates should have appeared for the TANCET 2021 (MCA) Examination conducted by Anna University Chennai,
Chennai 600 025 and should produce TANCET 2021 (MCA) Mark Sheet issued by Anna University Chennai.
How to apply for registration TANCET Counselling
Steps in Tamil Nadu MBA/MCA Admission 2021 Process are as follows:
- Online Application Registration and Payment of registration fees
- Uploading the scanned copy of original certificates.
- Online Certificates Verification
- Rank Publication (by MBA/MCA Admission 2021 Authority)
- Online Payment of Fees
- Online Choice Filling
- Publication of Tentative Allotment on a notified date
(by MBA/MCA Admission 2021 Authority) - Confirmation of tentative allotment option by the candidates
- Provisional allotment of institution (by MBA/MCA Admission 2021 Authority)
- Reporting to the allotted Institution on the specified date.
Online Registration
- Click on ‘Register Online Application’ tab
- Fill the mandatory fields marked in red
- Select the type of course (MBA/MCA). If, you are applying for both, select both.
- Provide your email ID and mobile number
- DTE, Tamil Nadu will send the password to the registered email ID and mobile number generated after registration
- Candidates are required to provide valid TANCET 2021 registration number .
- Click on ‘save’ tab after entering all the details in the application.
- Take a printout of the application form and address label.
Note: (i) The candidates must visit the official website frequently during the entire counseling
process and login from time to time to know the status of their application.

TANCET Counselling – Important Points to remember
- The rank list will be published based on the ranks acquired by candidates
- Candidates will be able to check the tancet counselling vacancy status of each participating institute after every round of TANCET 2019 counselling
- If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted colleges, he/she can attend the second and third round of TANCET counselling
- Candidates absent in the first or second phase of counselling will not be allowed to attend the subsequent stages of TANCET counselling 2021
- Colleges allotted in the last round of counselling will be considered as final
