Introduction
MAH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a state level common entrance test for admission to PG courses. Upon clearing MAH CET test, a candidate qualifies for admission to all MBA/MMS courses in the state of Maharashtra. The conducting body for the exam is State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The official notification for MAH CET 2023 has been released.

MAH CET 2022 Exam Date
24,25 & 26 June, 2022 (Tentative) (This is based on notification dated 21 April, 2022)
Mode of Examination
The MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 will be conducted through online mode i.e. computer-based test comprising of objective-type questions.
Medium of Examination
TheMAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 will be conducted in ENGLISH only.
MAH CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The candidate must be an Indian citizen. NRI / OCI / PIO / Foreign National and Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries can also apply.
Educational Qualification
A MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 aspirant must be a graduate in any discipline with at least 50% ( Minimum 45% in case of
candidates of backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with
Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from any recognised university or Institute or its equivalent;
OR
Final year students of graduate courses, whose result will be declared before commencement of admission can also apply.
How to Apply for MAH CET 2022 ?
The registrations for MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 is active.
Application forms for MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 courses will be available in digital format only.
Application Fees
The category wise application Fee for MAH CET has been tabulated below.

Candidates can choose to pay the required application fee through either of the following:
- Internet Payment,
- Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro),
Note :- (i) Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall
be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees.
(ii) No other mode of payment shall be permitted.
(iii) This fee is non-refundable and non transferable under any circumstances.
Documents to be attached
The following documents are to be attached in .jpg/.jpeg format only while registering for MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022:
- Scanned image of passport size photo against white background – Size between 20kb – 50 kb (in 200 x 230 pixels). Religious head wear is allowed provided that it does not cover the candidate’s entire face.
- Clear scanned signature against white background – dimensions 140 x 60 pixels – size between 10kb – 20kb.

The complete application procedure for MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 is divided into 6 stages.
- Registration.
- Payment of Application Fee.
- Uploading the documents.
- Printing the Completed Application Form & E-receipt.
MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 Hall Ticket
The MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 hall ticket will be issued in due course of time. Date is yet to be notified.
An Email/SMS informing on the availability of MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 admit card will also be sent to all the registered candidates.
Candidates are required to download and take 2 print of their hall ticket.
In Exam centre and exam hall
Candidate are advised to bring with you the following:
(a) Hall Ticket with photo affixed thereon and photo ID card in Original and photocopy.
(b) One Ball point pen.
(c) Persons with Disabilities (PWD) should bring duly filled Scribe form if applicable.
MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 Exam Pattern
MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 shall be conducted through a computer-based test or CBT. The following pattern is only applicable for MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022.
- The candidates will get 150 minutes (2 ½ hours) to complete the test.
- The DTE MAH CET entrance test for MBA will only comprise of multiple choice questions (MCQs) with 05 options.
- Maximum marks shall be 200.
- There will be total 200 questions divided over 04 sections.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer and there is no negative marking i.e. NO mark will be deducted for any wrong answer.
- Medium of Exam : English

Syllabus:
(A) Logical / Abstract Reasoning
This shall include the questions to measure how quickly and accurately you can think. This test may have questions based on figures and diagrams and also question on verbal reasoning.
(B) Quantitative Aptitude
This shall include the questions to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio and proportion, percentage, etc. This test also helps to measure your power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts.
(C) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
This shall include passages with questions based on their contents to test your comprehension. Your English Language ability would be tested through questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. Your English language ability would be tested through questions on
(1) understanding of the contents of the passage and
(2) choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills.
MAH MBA/ MMs CET 2022 Results
Date of result has not been notified so far. Candidates must check the results online on the official website
The candidates must download the score card and keep a hard copy of the it.
MAH CET Counselling
- The MAH CET CAP (Centralized Admission Process) 2020 counselling process will be conducted over 2 months, for 400 participating institutions.
- The applicants have to follow these steps to apply for MAH CET CAP:
- Online registration,
- Completing the application form,
- Verifying documents,
- Application confirmation,
- Release of provisional merit list,
- Release of final merit list and confirmation of admission,
- Payment of Counselling fees.

Question: How many attempts are there in MAH CET?
Answer: There is no limit to attempt MAH–CET .
Question: Is there GD-PI after MAH CET?
Answer: Question of conduction of GD-PI varies from institute to institute. Some institutes do have GD-Pi as part of their admission process while some choose not to.
Question: What is the level of difficulty of MAH-CET as compared to CAT?
Answer: The syllabus is not as different as CAT. Officially, CAT has no syllabus. As far as the MAH-CET is concerned, the major changes would be pattern. So become aware of the pattern and also get used to it by practising mock tests.
