Introduction
KMAT Kerala 2020 will be conducted by the Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT) twice a year. It is a state level entrance examination for the students seeking admission in management courses in Kerala. Various government as well as private institutes accept the score of this exam.

KMAT Kerala 2020 will be conducted in twice – in the 2nd week of February and in the 3rd week of June.
Mode of Answering
KMAT Kerala is a pen and paper based exam.
Medium of Examination
KMAT is conducted across the country and the only medium of examination is English .
KMAT Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship
- Candidates must be citizen of India.
- They should be a native of the state of Kerala
Educational Qualification
- Candidates appearing for the exam must have a bachelor’s degree in any domain and stream from any recognized institution or from recognized by Kerala.
- Candidates should obtain at least 50% in their bachelor’s degree. It is 40% for SC/ST students.
- Students who are in their final year can also sit for the exam.
Age Limit
- There is no age limit for applying for this exam.
How to Apply?
The registration portal for Kerala KMAT February 2020 will begin by November 2019 and of June 2020 will begin by March 2020.

Step by Step Application Procedure
- Visit www.kmatkerala.in to begin the registration process and click on ‘Registration’.
- Fill your basic details like:
- Name of Applicant
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Email-ID
- According to your category, you will be notified about the registration fees.
- Note your login credentials and login into your account using the KMAT login ID and password.
- Fill-in requisite information like:
- Name,DOB, Gender, Nationality, Age, eMail, Contact number.
- Address and Parent’s name.
- Religion, Caste, Category
- Previous University, Qualifying Degree and degree status.
- Verify your details and make online payment through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
- Upload scanned photograph and signature.
- Choose three centre preferences. Once you confirm these centre preferences, you can not change them.
- Press ‘Submit’ and take a print out of the application form.
KMAT Admit Card
Admit Card will be published on the official website of KMAT Kerala.
Candidate can expect to download the admit card a week prior to examination.
KMAT Kerala Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for KMAT 2020 is as follows :
- The mode for exam is offline
- The exam is taken for a duration of 150 minutes
- The total number of question is 180 MCQ type questions
- The paper will contain total of 4 sections –English Language Usage & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency & Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge & Contemporary Business Scenario
- 4 marks is rewarded for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

KMAT 2020 Results
KMAT 2020 results will be declared online on its official website.
The results will be declared in the 4th week of February 2020 and 3rd week of July 2020.
Counselling
Counseling process begins as soon as the results are out.
Qualified candidates can opt for prefered colleges and wait for the cut off lists. After that it is up to the institute to conduct PI and GD sessions for final selection.
