CAT Application Form 2019

CAT 2019 will be conducted on Sunday November 24, 2019. It is an annual exam for admission into Post Graduation courses and Fellowship programme in various IIMs and Non-IIMs listed institutions across India. The application forms for CAT 2019 had started from 07 August 2019 and the dates have been extended from 18 September 2019 to 25 September 2019 (5:00 pm). Following article details on all the important points about CAT application form. This year examination is likely to be conducted by the IIM Kazaikoda.

All the applications shall be accepted through online mode only.

CAT Application Fees

CAT 2019 fees can be paid through online mode only, such as:

• Debit Card
• Credit Card
• Net banking

The fees for general category is 1,900 INR and for SC/ST/PwD it is 950 INR.

Candidate needs to pay additional transaction charges which are as follows:

Documents to be Uploaded

Following documents are required in scanned form and mentioned format to be uploaded to the application form:

Photograph

• Not more than 80 KB
• 30 mm (width) x 45 mm (height)
• JPEG/JPG format
• 150 px/inch (min)

Signature

• Not more than 80 KB
• 80 mm (width) x 35 mm (height)
• JPEG/JPG format
• 150 px/inch (min)

Category Certificate

Applicants belonging to the reserved categories need to print the respective category certificates from the CAT website. Duly attested copy of the same from an authorized officer needs to be uploaded back.

Step I: Registration

• Candidate to register by creating unique Id and password.

• Candidates need to visit the official CAT website and register there using their email ID, contact number and other basic details.

• Applicants need to login using the credentials sent at their registered ID and fill in their basic details.

• Upon filling the application form consisting their personal, academic and other details, candidates need to fill in their preference of IIMs and programs.

Step II: Upload Documents

Candidates need to upload the required documents to the application form such as, photograph, signature and category certificate, if any.

Step III: Fee Payment

Upon filling in the form successfully, candidates need to pay the fees according to their category through online mode.

Step IV: Printing the Application Form

Candidate must keep a hard copy of the duly filled form and paid receipt of application fees for future references​.

IMPORTANT NOTE:-(i) Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the selection process.

(ii) It is not necessary to complete the entire application form in one go. Candidate can save their current session and log in later on to complete the application. Thus application can be completed in multiple sitting.

(iii) Once the payment of fee has been made and application has been submitted, applicant will not be allowed to make any of the change. Therefore, applicant should ensure that all information are correct and authenticated.

Test Cities

Applicants are allowed to select 04 cities of his/her choice from the drop down menu. After closing of registration, one test city out of 04 choiced cities will be allotted to the applicant subject to availability. If , any choiced test center could not be allotted , nearest available center will be allotted.
