(i)  Application process for  TNEA-2024 is likely to start in month of May, 2024. Notification for this will be released by the Test Conducting Body at the appropriate stage. The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Tamil Nadu.

(ii) The Test Conducting body will  release the TNEA application form which can be filled in by the eligible candidates.

Introduction

PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore is a private technical institution in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The institute was founded in 1951 by the PSG & Sons’ Charitable Trust. At the time of foundation, PSG College of technology was the only private technical institute in the state. Later in 1978, the institute was granted autonomous status by the University of Madras. In 2001, PSG college of Technology became affiliated to Anna University, leaving its previous affiliator, Bharathiar University. At present, the college offers 48 full-time and part-time courses in Engineering, Science, and Management. As of 2016, PSG Tech is one of the best technical institutes in the country.

PSG College of engineering campus is situated on the Avinashi Road in the Peelamedu locality in the city of Coimbatore.

The admission procedure for various courses at PSG College of Engineering have been detailed below.

UG Programs

As already mentioned, PSG College of Technology is affiliated to Anna University. Therefore, admission to PSG’s UG programs is solely through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).

PG Programs

In the case of PG Programs, admission is either via GATE score or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) score.

However, among the two, GATE score is given the first preference.
