(d) On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration.
(e) NTPC will not be responsible in case the candidate deposits the fee in a wrong account.
(iv) Fee once paid is not refundable.

(a) In order to restrict the candidates for interview, NTPC may conduct on line written test to short list the number of candidate.
(b) NTPC can also conduct on line written test to raise the minimum eligibility criteria of th candidates.
(c) In case , selection test is held 85% weighatage will be given to written test & 15% weightage to Interview.
(d) However, it is mandated to qualify separately in written test & interview.
(e) Eligible candidates will have to appear for All India based Online Selection Test.
(f) The online selection test will have two parts i.e. Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) & Executive Aptitude Test (EAT).
(g) The candidates are required to qualify both in SKT and EAT separately.
(h) Based on merit and requirement of the post, candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview. All shortlisted candidates after written test will have to secure minimum qualifying marks in Interview as applicable.
(i) The final selection will be on the basis of 85% weightage of online selection test and 15% weightage of interview marks.

The candidate must be a citizen of India. The educational qualification, age, experience etc. as stipulated in advertisement shall be determined as on the last date of submission of application.
5 How to Apply
Candidates have to apply through on line mode only. No other mode of application shall be accepted.

Note: (i) on line payment : On line payment of fee can be made through Net banking / Debit Card (Rupay Cards) / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available on the website at the time of filling the application form.
(ii) Off line Payment : (a) State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, through a specially opened account (No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi ( code 09996), on behalf of NTPC.
(b) Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” which is available on the application registration portal.

(d) On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration.
(e) NTPC will not be responsible in case the candidate deposits the fee in a wrong account.
(iv) Fee once paid is not refundable.
5.2 To Apply:

Step 2 : Select post and then, submit
Step 3 : a new page will appear for on line registration. Read all the instructions and then, press the button “Apply’’.
Step 4: A registration form will appear on the screen. Enter all the information and data carefully
Step 5: on completion of all the information/ data, press the button “Preview.
Step 6: Check the correctness of all the entered data and correct if, any entry is incorrect.
Step 7 : Then, do the submission of the application form.
Step 8: After successful registration, system will generate a Unique Registration Number. Candidates are required to keep the printout of the Registration slip which will be generated by the system after successful registration.
