The selection procedure consists of an online examination that has both MCQ-type questions and descriptive-type questions.
(i) Objective Test- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs):

Note:
(i) 1/4th of the marks allocated will be deducted in case of a wrong answer in the objective type questions

(iii) Marks obtained in the online examination will be considered for shortlisting the candidates for interview and then for the final selection, both the interview and online examination marks will be considered.

Note:

5. How to Apply
Step 1: Log on to: www.ecgc.in
Step 2: Click on the “Careers with ECGC” section displayed on the right side of the webpage. Then click on the “Click here to apply” option to open the application form.
Step 3: If you are visiting for the first time then select “Click here for registration” and fill in all mandatory details to obtain a provisional registration number and password on your email ID.
Step 4: For the subsequent visits, and completion of the application form, you can use the same email ID and password. Fill in all the required details carefully in the application form.
Step 5: The following documents need to be uploaded by the candidates before completing the registration.
- Passport size Photograph (Size – 20kb to 50 kb)
- Signature (Size – 10kb to 20kb)
- Left Thumb impression (Size – 20kb to 50kb)
- Handwritten declaration (Size – 50kb to 100kb)
Step 6: Click on the “Complete Registration” button to save all the details and submit the application
Step 7: You will be redirected to the “Payment” tab where payment needs to be made and click on submit to complete the process.
Note: On a successful transaction, a receipt will be generated. The candidates are required to save the receipt and the completed application form for reference purposes in the future.
