5 Jobs in BIS: Tenure of Engagement

The job is purely on contract basis for a period of Two years and the engagement will be subject to
termination at the end of contract period.

The engagement in job of recruited Graduate Engineer can be terminated by BIS at any time without assigning any reasons thereof by giving them 30 days’ notice.

However, in case the recruited Graduate Engineer wishes to resign, he/she will have to give 30 days’ advance notice or remuneration in lieu of thereof, before resigning from the engagement.

Step 3: For new candidates, one time registration has to be done by creating new BIS account.

Step 4 : For already registered candidates, he/ she can log in by entering Registered mobile Number/Email/ User Id

Step 5: Then, continue for further process.

BIS operations are divided into five regions namely, Western/Southern/Eastern/Northern/Central. Online portal for submission of applications will be functional from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar. The closing date for applying will be 21 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar.

8 Jobs in BIS: Selection Procedure

All the applications received shall be scrutinized and shortlisted.

Candidates will be shortlisted in the light of their qualifications, experience and other details provided in the application form.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for practical assessment, written assessment, technical knowledge assessment and interview.
