IIFT Admissions 2019

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has released the list of successful candidates shortlisted for Second round for admission in MBA (IB) . Candidates can check by log on official web site tedu.iift.ac.in.

After opening of website under latest update click on ‘MBA(IB) 2019-21”

A pdf file will open containing names and roll numbers of shortlisted candidates.

Foreign Nationals will be shortlisted based on score of GMAT and personal interview.

Introduction: What is IIFT Exam?

IIFT Exam is an annually held management entrance examination conducted by IIFT, New Delhi for admission to its MBA in IB (International Business) course. Admission to the said course is through a 2 stage process involving IIFT Entrance test followed by GD, Interview and Writing Ability Test. IIFT 2019 notification is expected to be released by the 4th week of July 2018. In 2015, around 45k students appeared for the IIFT entrance exam out of which 1,500 qualified (<1%) the written test.

IIFT 2019 Important Dates (Tentative)

IIFT 2019 Exam Date

IIFT 2019 Exam Date has been announced. The exam will be conducted on 2nd December 2018 between 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Mode of Answering

IIFT entrance exam 2019 will be an objective type offline examination only.

Medium of Examination

IIFT exam 2019 will be conducted in English language Only.

IIFT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Following eligibility criteria must be satisfied in order to appear for IIFT entrance exam.

Nationality

Both foreign and Indian Nationals can appe

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree with a duration of minimum 3 years in any discipline from a recognized institute. Also, the candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks in the degree (45% for SC/ST/PWD)

Appearing Candidates

Candidates appearing for the final year exams also satisfy the IIFT eligibility. However, their application should be followed by the submission of a proof of qualification.

Age limit

There’s no age limit for IIFT entrance exam.

IIFT Selection Procedure

Indian Nationals

On the basis of the marks obtained in the IIFT Entrance Test, the candidates will be called for writing skill assessment, Group Discussion and Interview which will be held between 4th week of January till middle of February.

Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI

On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) Score. Applicants shortlisted on the basis of GMAT scores will have to appear for a Personal Interview at IIFT campus before being absorbed as students by IIFT.

IIFT Registrations 2019

IIFT registrations portal is currently open. 

IIFT application form 2019 are available from the 6th August 2018 till 14th September 2018.

Students can apply only via online mode. Offline mode is not available for IIFT exam 2019.

IIFT 2019 Admit card

IIFT Admit Card will be available from the 16th November 2018 and can be downloaded till the exam date.

IIFT Examination Pattern 2019

IIFT 2019 will be a 2-hour long Pen/Paper based test comprising of 4 sections:

• English Language: Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension
• General Knowledge & Current Affairs
• Logical Reasoning
• Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis.

Unlike other management entrance examination, IIFT entrance exam doesn’t possess a fixed marking scheme or fixed number of questions. The pattern varies year by year.
