Introduction
DAIICT or the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar is a deemed technical university based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. DAIICT is a private institute, funded & owned by the Reliance Group and named after Reliance Group’s founder and India’s most popular entrepreneur Late Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani. The institute began its journey in 2001 with B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program and a handful of students. In 2003, the institute gained deemed university status by an act of Gujarat legislature, which was later recognized by UGC in 2004. As of 2016, DAIICT offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degree programs in Information Technology and is headed by Mr. Anil Dhirubhai Ambani. It is also among India’s premier institutions in Information Technology.

Admission to various programs at DAIICT Gandhinagar is as follows:
Undergraduate Programs (B.Tech)
B.Tech admissions at DAIICT are based on candidate’s performance in JEE Main examination. However, aspirants must apply separately for the examination.
The application forms are usually released in April/May every year.
PG Programs
M.Tech in ICT
Admission to M.Tech program at DAIICT is based on candidate’s GATE score for that year. Candidate’s with GATE score lower than 425 must appear for an extra round of Personal interview (PI).

M.Des Program
For M.Des admissions at DAIICT, candidate must be in possession of a valid CEED score. Candidate without the CEED score, must appear for an entrance test called DAT (Design Aptitude Test), organized by the institute for the purpose. Visit the M.Des Admission for details.

DAIICT Fee Structure
(i) Payment is to be made by way of Bank Draft drawn in favour of ‘DA-IICT,’ payable at Ahmedabad.
(ii)The registration fee is payable at the time of registration and hostel rent on allotment of the hostel room.
UG Programs
B.Tech fee structure at DAIICT Gandhinagar is tabulated below for admission in 2022.
At the time of counselling an amount of Rs.1,11,000/- (Rs.86,000/- towards Tuition Fee for the First Semester and Rs.25,000/- towards Caution Deposit) is to be paid. Subsequently, fees are charged semester-wise, with the registration at the beginning of each semester.

DAIICT Campus
The DAIICT campus is housed inside a 60 – acre luxurious campus with phenomenal facilities for the comfort of students. Well, it is obvious that the campus is going to be good, its Ambani guys!! As mentioned, the campus is located in Gandhinagar, 
Gujarat. Being a state capital, the city itself has a lot to offer to its residents in terms of urban facilities. The campus is covered in a lush green grass all over and like any college of such stature, it has a certain artistic ambiance attached to it. The campus also has a 24-hour ATM facility for students.

Open Air Theater
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute has a small open-air theater located inside the campus. This theater is solely meant for entertainment purposes. Various Bollywood and Hollywood movies are screened here from time to time for Entertainment, Entertainment, and Entertainment !!

DAIICT’s cafeteria is one of the finest college cafeterias in the country. The cafeteria has a great sitting capacity and is completely maintained by the students themselves. Starting from menus, each and everything in this cafeteria is under the control of an elected student body.
Medical Facility
The Dhirubhai Ambani University has a small medical facility inside the college campus. The facility has two doctors available during specified hours. Every student on the college campus can consult these doctors without any charges at the specified times. In the case of an emergency, students can be admitted to Apollo hospital on concessional rates.
Sports Centre
The institute has a great sports facility within the realms of the college campus. These sports facilities include a Cricket ground with nets for practice, Basketball courts, Badminton court, TT tables, Football Ground and many other games.
