Introduction

NSUT Delhi (Netaji Subhas University Of Technology) is a government-financed technical institute located in the capital city of Delhi. The Institute earlier known as NSIT (Netaji Subhas Institute Of Technology). it is  of India’s  one of the most reputed institution in the domain of technical education, NSUT has carved a special niche for itself – both nationally and internationally – for excellence in education and research. NSIT Delhi Location

NSIT Delhi is situated in the Dwarka locality in South west Delhi. It’s adress is : Azad Hind Fauj Marg, Sector – 3 , Dwarka, New Delhi – 110078. The connectivity of various mode of conveyance are as below:

• It is located at a distance of 17.5 km from Indra Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
• The nearest Railway station from NSUT Delhi is the Delhi Cantonment station at a distance of 10 Km. However, the New Delhi Railway station is 25 Km from the campus.
• The nearest Metro station is the Dwarka Mor Metro Station at a small distance of 1 Km.

 Note : Admissions in undergraduate programmes by NSUT Delhi is on the on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – MAIN,conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency ) twice a year.

Note : (i) Admissions to NSUT Delhi in its postgraduate programmes are offered based  on the  GATE Score only amongst the candidates registered online for the admission, through screening committee and selection committee.

 (ii)   Final selection of the candidates for Sponsored (Full-Time) and Part-Time course shall be made by the Selection Committee on the basis of their performance at the qualifying examination, written test and interview.

  (iii)  The intake of students to these postgraduate programmes is 23  for each specialization programme.

NSUT Delhi Admission Procedure

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) Admissions

For admission in undergraduate courses, the JEE Main rank list will be considered. Students will be considered eligible on the basis of the marks scored by them in the JEE Main entrance exam.

Master of Technology (M.Tech) Admissions 

Postgraduate admissions at NSUT Delhi are based on applicant’s performance in the GATE examination.

Doctorate Admissions

Doctorate aspirants at NSUT Delhi must appear for either a departmental entrance test or JRF or equivalent national level exam with fellowship. This test will be followed by an Interview before final selection.

NSUT Delhi Fee Structure

UG/PG Fee

The other expenses fee is Rs.21,150 for the rest of the three years .

The hostel fee is Rs.66000 per annum .

NSUT Delhi Campus

NSIT Delhi campus is fully-residential spread over 145 acres of land. A prominent feature of the campus is the vast expanse of greenery that envelops the campus entirely. The campus is divided into clusters of buildings. The administrative block contains important offices, banks, a post office as well as a massive auditorium. The library is housed in an independent block behind the main five academic blocks.

The campus has four boys’ hostel (one for each year) and two girl’s hostels. The workshop is located near the library and close to the sports complex. The main shops existing are welding, fitting, sheet metal, foundry and machine shops. The main objective of the workshop is to introduce a general idea of how things work in the manufacturing domain.

NSUT Delhi Placements 

NSUT Delhi placements statistics have astonishing figures over the years. With over 90% placements being made on the campus every year, NSUT has made an impact in every industry over the years. The institute has an excellent record in assuring confirmed jobs in prestigious organizations.

In 2016, around 172 companies visited the NSUT Delhi campus for recruitment. Out of these 172, 115 companies were repeated recruiters for the campus placement last year.
