The clouds of uncertainty over NEET 2017 results do not seem to end. According to certain big media houses in the country, CBSE NEET 2017 results aren’t coming anytime soon, at least not in coming 15 days. Previously, based on an allegation of certain students over the uniformity of NEET 2017 question papers, the Madras HC had asked CBSE to withstand the results till 7th June 2017.
Why Not on 8th June?
However, as per CBSE, it requires them 15 days to declare the result from the date they will be permitted to do so. And, no such order regarding NEET 2017 result declaration has been given by the court to CBSE in the recent hearings. These two statements automatically imply – The results aren’t coming anytime soon.
NEET and Controversies
It was the first time that a common admission test was put in place for all medical and dental colleges in India, in form of NEET 2017. NEET, this year, was conducted in 8 vernacular languages apart from Hindi and English on 7th May across the country.
But, as it has become a ritual, NEET has never gone free from controversies since inception. Apart from being in controversy for non-uniformity in question papers, there have also been controversies of paper leaks and strict dress code on NEET 2017 exam centers.
