SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) is a regulatory body that oversees the regulation and licensing of MSME (Micro, small, and Medium (Enterprise) Finance companies that are located in India. It aims to ease the credit facilitation process to small organizations and businesses that operate out of India.

3. Jobs in SIDBI: Examination Pattern
Selection procedure is consisting of :
(i) On line Computer based Test
(ii) Interview of shortlisted candidates based on CBT ( To be held at 10 Centres given in notification).
The candidates will have to take an online computer-based test which has both objective and descriptive type questions. It is to be noted that the question paper will be in both English and Hindi language (except for the English language test and descriptive test). The examination pattern will be as follows:

Notes:
- 1/4th of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted for wrong answers in objective-type questions.
- Only if the candidate clears the minimum cut-off in the objective section, their descriptive part will be evaluated.
- Both sections-wise and overall test scores will be taken to determine the cut-off for the candidates.
- The Descriptive Test will be evaluated only for those candidates who qualify in the Objective type of tests (on total and individual sections of objective tests) and are ranked adequately high as per total marks in the objective test.

5. Jobs in SIDBI: How to Apply
Step 1: Log on to: www.sidbi.in
Step 2: Go to the careers page, and find the notification for the post: Applications for Recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘A’– General Stream.
Step 3: Click on new registration if you are visiting for the first time and fill in all mandatory details to obtain a provisional registration number and password.
Step 4: Go through all the instructions carefully and fill out the form completely without making any mistakes. If you are not able to complete it in one stretch, you can save the progress and complete it later on as well.
Step 5: The following documents need to be uploaded by the candidates before completing the registration.
- Photograph (photograph (4.5 cm* 3.5 cm)
- Signature (with black ink)
- Left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)
- Handwritten declaration (on white paper with black ink). The text is given below (should be uploaded only in the English language:
“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
Step 6: Click on the “Complete Registration” button to save all the details and submit the application
Step 7: You will be redirected to the “Payment” tab where payment needs to be made and click on submit to complete the process.
Note: Candidates need to save the e-receipt and online application that is generated after the payment step for future reference purposes. In case E-receipt is not generated it indicates a payment failure.
