Registration of JEE( Main) – January 2024  has started:

(i) NTA ( National Testing Agency) has started process of registration of candidates for JEE( Main) – January 2024 .

(ii) Critical dates:

(a)  Start of Online Submission of Application Form: 01/11/2023

(b)  Last date of Online Submission of Application Form: 30/11/2023 (9:00 PM)

(c) Announcement of the City of Examination : By the second week of January 2024 

(d) Dates of Examination                              : Between 24 January and 01 February 2024

(e) Declaration of Result                               : 12/02/2024

NTA has released the result of JEE (Main), 2022 Ist Session

(i) NTA has released the resut & score card of JEE (Main), 2022 Ist Session.

(ii) After both Sessions of JEE (Main) – 2022 Examination, the ranks of the candidates will be released taking into consideration the best of the two NTA Scores in accordance with the policy already made.

21 June, 2022:

 NTA has released the Admit card for JEE (Main), 2022 Session -1

(i) NTA has released the Admit card for JEE (Main), 2022 Session -1. Admit Card can be downloaded from to day, 21 June, 2022.

(ii) To down load the card, go on following steps :

Step 1: Go on link:  Down load Admit Card

Step 2: Enter Application Number, Date of Birth & Security Pin & submit.

Step 3 : Get the print of Admit Card. It is to be carried in Examination Centre.

(iv) Exam Dates are :  20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25,26, 27, 28, and 29 June 2022

15 June, 2022:

JEE (Main) 2022 Session 1 Exam City Intimation Slip is Live Now for Downloading

(i) NTA, the examination conducting body of the JEE( Main) 2022 has made the portal live for downloading of the exam city intimation slip.

(ii) To download, go on link:

(iii) By entering Application Number & Date of Birth, it can be downloaded.

(iv)  Candidate to go through the instructions contained therein & also the Information Bulletin.

(v) The Candidates to note that this ( i.e. Exam City Intimation Slip)  is NOT the Admit Card for JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1. This is  only the advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located for fascility to the candidates.

(vi) Admit Card of JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1 shall be issued later & it is likely at any time in this week.   

13 June, 2022:

(i)  It is expected that National Testing Agency (NTA) is to release the admit cards for the  JEE Main 2022 session 1 examination on June 15, 2022.

(ii) On activation of the link by NTA, the students who have registered for the JEE Main 2022 examination can download their admit cards for session 1 through the official site- jeemain.nta.nic.in

(iii)  The  JEE Main 2022 session 1 examination is scheduled to be held from June 20 to 29, 2022.

18 April, 2022:

(i) NTA, the examination conducting body of JEE( Main)-2022, has extended the last date of registration to 25 April,2022 which was earlier 18 April , 2022. The rescheduled  programme is as under:-

(ii) The dates of Advance Intimation of Examination City, downloading of Admit Cards, and declaration of Result will be made available on JEE (Main) portal in due course.
(iii) The schedule for inviting the online Application Forms for Session 2 of JEE (Main) – 2022 will be available later in due course of time.

06 April, 2022: 

(i) NTA, the examination conducting body of JEE( Main)-2022, has rescheduled the test dates of JEE( Main) -2022, which were scheduled to be held April and May, 2022. The details are as under:-

(ii) The Registration for Session 1 is closed now. The schedule for inviting the online Application Forms for Session 2 of JEE (Main) – 2022 will be  made available soon.

(iii) For further clarification related to JEE (Main) – 2022, the candidates can also contact 011-40759000/011-69227700 or email at jeemain@nta.ac.in.

(ii) Rescheduling has been done in view of the persistent demand from the student community.

02 April, 2022: 

(i) NTA, the examination conducting body of JEE( Main)-2022, has extended the last date of registration to 05 April,2022 which was earlier 31 March , 2022. The rescheduled  programme is as under:-

Candidates may please note that the correction in the particulars of the Online Application Form will not be allowed once the Application Form is submitted. Therefore the candidates have to be extremely careful.

(ii) A total of 12 new Foreign Cities in addition to 13 existing Cities have also been added for JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1 on the demand of the Indian diaspora in various foreign cities. The list of Examination Cities (Outside-India) may be referred in official letter.

14 March, 2022: 

(i) NTA, the examination conducting body of JEE( Main)-2022, has rescheduled the test dates of JEE( Main) -2022, which were scheduled to be held from 16 April to 21 April 2022. The details are as under:-

(ii) Rescheduling has been done in view of the persistent demand from the student community as, dates of board exam were colliding with this test.

NTA vide notification dated 09 August , 201 has rescheduled the dates of 4th session of JEE ( Main)-2021 has been rescheduled as under.

07 August, 2021 (00:30 Hrs):

1  Declaration of result of JEE ( Mains) Third session, 2021

(i) NTA has delared the result of JEE ( Main)  Third session, 2021 , exam of which held on July 20, 22, 25, and 27, 2021. Student can check the result on following and get the score and percentile:-

(a) Around 7.10 Lakhs candidates appeared in exam.

(b) Conducted at 334 cities and 828 centres.

28 July, 2021 :

Conduct of JEE (Main) – 2021 (Session-3) for concerned Candidates in The Flood Affected Districts of Kolhapur, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Raigadh, Sindhudurg, Sangli, and Satara in Maharashtra State

(i) NTA vide notification dated 28 July, 2021 has notified following schedule for concerned candidates of the flood affected districts of Kolhapur, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Raigadh, Sindhudurg, Sangli, and Satara in Maharashtra State.

(iii) The above examination is being conducted only for the candidates who had examination centres in the cities of Kolhapur, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Raigadh, Sindhudurg, Sangli and Satara in Maharashtra for the JEE (Main) – 2021 Session – 3 examination conducted on 25 and 27 July 2021 and who could not appear on those dates.

(iv) Concerned  candidates are advised to download their Admit Cards on the date indicated above and appear
for the examination as per the details mentioned on their Admit Cards.

15 July, 2021: 

NTA has rescheduled the dates of 4th session of JEE ( Main)-2021 as under.

06 July, 2021:

JEE Main third session will be held from July 20 to 25 and the fourth session will be held from July 27 to August 02.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal while  addressing to students about JEE 2021 about schedule of exam and other details  at 7 pm on 06 July, 2021 that he is planning to announce its decision on the JEE 2021 and NEET 2021 exams for some time now.

“JEE Main third session will be held from July 20 to 25 and the fourth session which was earlier scheduled to be held in May will be held from July 27 to August 2,” said Education Minister.

The NEET-UG 2021 date has been scheduled for August 1 but that is likely to be changed after the review.

26 May, 2021:

IIT Kharagpur (The exam conducting Institution) has notified on 26 May, 2021 that in light of the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19, JEE (Advanced) 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 03, 2021 (Saturday) stands postponed. The revised date of examination will be announced in due course of time.

04 May, 2021:

(i) Due to rising Covid-19 cases in the country, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on 04/05/2021 announced that the Joint Entrance Exam  (JEE Main) – May 2021 session has been postponed.  May 2021 session is scheduled on             24, 25, 26, 27, 28 May 2021.

18 April, 2021:     

1 Postponement of JEE (Main) 2021 April session.

(i)   NTA vide public notice dated 18 April, 2021 has postponed the April session of JEE(Main), 2021   scheduled for 27, 28, and 30 April 2021 due to unusual circumstances arisen because of Covid-19 pandemic.

(ii) The revised dates for the JEE (Main) – 2021 April session will be announced later on and at least 15 days before the examination.
