JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2022 is a national level entrance test which provides admission to the UG programmes offered at the IIT’s and other institutes which accepts the JEE Advanced score. Each year, out of the 23 IIT’s one of the IIT remains as the conducting body. For the year 2022, the conducting body of JEE advanced is IIT Mumbai . Note:- All PwD candidates are eligible for one hour compensatory time, i.e., the end time will be 13:00 IST for Paper 1 and 18:30 IST for Paper 2.

JEE Advanced will be conducted in online mode (computer based test), in objective format.
Medium of Examination
JEE Advanced paper is bilingual. i.e., English and Hindi. The candidates can choose the language in which they wish to take the exam.

JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2022 ( For Indian National)
There are 05 criteria for to be eligible to appear in JEE ( Advanced) -2021
Criterian 1: Performance of the candidate in JEE ( Main ) -2022:- Candidates will have to come within top 2,50,000# successful candidates of JEE Main 2022 (including all categories). Higher score out of all session of JEE ( Main) will be considered. Aspirant must have cleared their 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2021 or 2022.
# The total number of candidates may be slightly greater than 2,50,000 in the event of
“tied” ranks/scores in any category.
Criterian 2 : Age limit:-Candidates should have been born on or after October 1 1997, 5 year… is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1992. and they must be otherwise eligible to apply for JEE Advanced.
Criterion 3 : No of attempts:- Candidates will be able to apply for JEE Advanced for a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
Criterion 4 – Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination: A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2020 or 2021 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates who have appeared first time in class XII ( or equivalent) in 2020 or earlier are not eligible to appear in JEE ( Advanced) 2022.
However, if the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declares the results for the academic year 2019-20 after June 2020, then the candidates of that board who appeared for their Class XII exam in 2020 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria. In case, the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2019-20 before June 2020 but the result of a particular candidate was withheld, then the candidate will not be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022.
Criterion 5 – Earlier admission at IITs: A candidate should NOT have been admitted in an IIT irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past. Candidates
whose admission at IITs was cancelled after joining any IIT are also NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022.
Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2021 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022. The candidates who paid seat acceptance fee in 2021 but (i) did not report at any reporting centre OR, (ii) withdrew before the last round of seat allotment, OR, (iii) had their seat cancelled (for whatever reason) before the last round of seat allotment for IITs, during the joint seat allocation in 2020, are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2022.

JEE Advanced 2022application portal will open on Sunday, August 07, 2022 (10:00 IST).
Candidates can fill the JEE Advanced 2022 application form via online mode only.

JEE Advanced candidates are required to pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.
Documents to be attached
Candidates will have to fill their exam city preference ,personal and educational details along with the following details.
Scanned copies
Latest photograph, signature along with thumb impression.
Certificates required
- For date of Birth verification: 10th certificate or Birth certificate (if it is not mentioned in 10th certificate)
- 12th or equivalent examination certificate
Students with certain specifications/quota must upload the required documents at the time of registration.
- Category Certificate (If SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL)
- PWD certificate (if necessary)
- PIO/ OCI certificate (if applicable), etc.
NOTE: If name on the 10thcertificate is not same as 12th certificate then, gazette notification showing the change of name must be uploaded.
No correction facility in the application form will be provided by the board so candidates must fill the details carefully.
Steps of Applying (Based on Boucher of JEE (advanced)-2022)
The complete online application procedure for JEE Advanced is divided into 4 stages.Registration.
Stage 1: For registration , go on site Registration/Applying
Stage 2 : On opening of site, first Log in and enter the basic data.
Stage 3 : Enter the choices of the exam city.
Notes : (i) Tentative list of cities and towns have been given at Para 19 on page No 36 and 37 of Information Bulletin of JEE ( Advanced) -2021 ( For information bulletin,see important links at bottom of the post.)
(ii) Candidates have to compulsorily choose eight (8) cities / towns of their choice at the time of online registration.
(iii) Efforts will be made to allot the city / town from among the candidate’s choice but a different city / town may be allotted under exceptional circumstances.
(iv) Request for change of city / town will NOT be entertained under any circumstances.
(v) The candidate will have the option of adding an additional mobile phone number and an additional email id, in addition to the number(s) provided during JEE (Main) 2021 registration. Please note that all the correspondence regarding JEE (Advanced) 2022 will be sent to the registered mobile number by SMS and/or to the registered email id by email. Candidates
are therefore, advised to ensure that the correct mobile number and email address are entered by them.
Stage 4 : Upload the scanned copies of all requisite documents.

Stage 5 : Pay registration Fees as detailed above.

Admit Card (Based on Boucher of JEE (advanced)-2022)
Regarding the JEE Advanced 2021 Admit Card, note the following Points:

Note :-The admit card will be made available on the official website through online mode only. Candidates are required to download and take a print of their admit card as it will not be sent by post.

first log on : Down load Admit Card
Go on option “Down Loads” on right top
on new window, enter your registration particulars ,
Down load Admit Card and get it printed.
The down loaded admit card contains following details of the candidate :-
Name,
Roll number for JEE (Advanced) 2021,
Photograph,
Signature,
Date of birth,
Address for correspondence and category.
The name and address of the examination centre allotted to the candidate.
Note :- (i) Candidates must carefully examine the entries in the admit card and in case of
any discrepancy, Chairman JEE (Advanced)-2021 of the respective Zonal Coordinating IIT to be contacted.
(ii) In case of any problem in downloading the admit card, the candidate must immediately contact the Chairman, JEE (Advanced) 2021 of their respective zonal coordinating IIT.
(iii) A printout of the downloaded admit card along with an original and valid photo identity card (any one out of Aadhaar, School ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card) Needs be produced at the time of examination and without which, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

JEE Advanced 2022 Results
Regarding the result Declaration, the following points may be noted:
JEE advanced 2022 results will be announced on Sunday, September 11, 2022 (10:00 IST)
Candidates must check the results online on the official website by entering the Application number and Password and must keep a hard copy of the score card.
JEE Advanced results will be available for candidates who appeared for both the papers.
JEE Advanced 2022 Counselling
The JEE Advanced 2022 counselling process will be conducted from Monday, September 12, 2022.
The counselling will be in offline mode and It will be conducted by JoSAA or Joint Seat Allocation Authority.
A separate brochure will be released for the complete information for the choice filling and the counselling.
Candidates are requested to submit the required documents at the time of admission as per the instructions provided.
