INTRODUCTION
IIIT Lucknow is one of the most deemed among the 20 IIITs set up by the Central government in Public Private Partnership (PPP)mode. It was established in 2015 and is a premium institute that was set up with the aim of providing a wholesome education in the field of information technology. It provides all the amenities for the overall development of the students that would be instrumental in shaping them for a greater future ahead.
LOCATION
The permanent campus of IIIT Lucknow is spread in about 50 acres of land at Chak-Ganjaria Region in the Gomti Nagar extension of Lucknow. It is just couple of kilometers away from the international cricket stadium that is being set up in Gomti Nagar extension.
It is 19 Km from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Air Port Lucknow and 14 Km from Charbagh Railway station. Cabs and auto rikshaw are available to reach the Institution.

CAMPUS
IIIT Lucknow, for its first academic session (2015-16) conducted classes from it’s mentor campus i.e. IIT Allahabad. The institute is being set up with the financial contribution of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)-Government of Uttar Pradesh and U.P. Electronics Corporation as industry partner.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
- Admission to the 4 year B. Tech program is made through Central Seat Allocation Board based upon the merit in JEE Mains.
- Admission to the 2 year M.Tech program is made through the entrance exam conducted by the institute, the syllabus of which as per the syllabus for GATE.
- Admission to the 2 year MBA program and the diploma courses are made through a personal interview of the shortlisted candidates.
