(ii) It is informed that relevant part in the notice of Examination where closing date was treated as crucial dates for ascertaining eligibility, will now be as per new closing date i.e. 13.10.2022.
(iii) As per the instruction received from Department of Personnel & Training, the tentative vacancies for CGLE-2022 are likely to be increased substantially.

Introduction
SSC (Staff Selection Commission) conducts a National level examination CGLE (Combined Graduate Level Examination), every year, for recruitment of various posts in different Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India and their offices. Around 25 to 35 lakh people register for SSC CGL every year. out of which around 15 to 20 lakh candidates take the exam.
SSC invites applications for CGLE-2022. Total vacancies are approximately 20,000.Updated vacancies, if any, along with Post-wise & category-wise vacancies will be made available in due course.

Mode of Answering
CGL 2022 Tier I and Tier II exam will be conducted in online mode as a Computer-Based Exam ( CBE).
Tier 3 exam is a pen/paper mode Descriptive Test, and
Tier 4 exam is a Skill-Based Test to check the Data Entry Speed/Computer Proficiency (wherever applicable).
Medium of Examination
SSC CGL 2022 will be conducted in Hindi, and English.
SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for CGL Exam 2022 has been described below:-
Nationality
A candidate must hold either of the following nationality to be eligible to apply for SSC CGL exam:
A candidate must be either:
1 a citizen of India, or
2 a subject of Nepal, or
3 a subject of Bhutan, or
4 a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5 a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Note: A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but, the offer of appointment will only be given after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.
CGL 2022 Age Limit
The cut-off date for the age of aspirant candidate is 01/01/2022.

Application fee for SSC CGL 2022 can be paid either by online transaction or offline mode using the e-challan.

Candidates must keep the following documents at hand while filling the SSC CGL 2022 application form:
- Scanned Passport sized photograph – between 20-50 kb – JPG format
Image dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) and 4.5 cm (height)
- Scanned Signature – between 10-20 kb – JPEG format (Image dimension of the signature should be 4.0 cm (width) and 3.0 cm ( height)
How to Apply for SSC CGL 2022?
Candidates can only apply only through online mode.
For filling on line application, the process will be broadly in two steps:
1 Registration (One Time)
2 Filling of on line application for the examination (After Registration)
Documents/ Information to be kept in readiness
Before starting for One-Time Registration, following information and documents are to be kept in readiness:
(i) Email ID (which is will be verified through OTP).
(ii) Mobile Number (which is will be verified through OTP)
(iii) Aadhaar Number. If Aadhaar Number is not available, then, give one out of the following Id Numbers.
(a) PAN
(b) Voter ID Card
(c) Passport
(d) School/ College ID
(e) Driving License
(f) Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/Private)
(g) Scanned Passport sized photograph ( As per above details) (h) Scanned Signature (As per above details)
(iv) Information about the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the
Secondary School Examination i.e. Matriculation (10th) Examination.
(v) Disability Certificate Number, if candidate is with benchmark disability.
1 For One-Time Registration
- Log on link http://ssc.nic.in.
- Click on ” Register Now” in Log in section
- Fill in the all basic details,
- Additional & contact details &
- Declaration :
- After saving basic details, again provide mobile number and email Id for confirmation and on confirmation by the candidate, a Registration Number will appear on screen.
- Then, log in with the received Registration Number as username and click.
- A auto generated password will be sent on the registered mobile number and email.
- Then, password is to be changed by you when you go for your first log in.
- After successful change of password, again candidate has to login using registration number and changed password.
- And Password will be sent to you on your given mobile number and Email ID.
- On successful login, information about the “Basic Details” filled so far will be displayed. Candidate may editit, if required or ,if correct may proceed further by clicking on ”Next “button at the bottom.
- Thus, your one-time Registration will be completed.
Note: (i) Though, candidate can edit/ modify his/her One-time Registration data, however, one must be very cautious while filling up details in the One-time Registration. Wrong/ incorrect information may lead to cancellation of your candidature.
(ii) User Id and password to be kept safely and secretly as these will be required in thorough out selection process.
2 Filling of on line application (After one time Registration)

To Apply:
(i) Log on link http://ssc.nic.in.
(ii) Login by entering registration number and password.
(iii) Click ”Apply” link in ”Combined Graduate Level Examination 2022” section under ”Latest Notifications” tab.
(iv) Column Sl 1 to 14: Information in columns at S No-1 to 14 will be automatically generated from candidature’s data held in One-time Registration. These automatically generated data are non-editable.
(v) Sl 15: Select”Yes”, if, candidate belongs to Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
(vi) Sl No-16: Provide 03 numbers Examination Centers in order of preference. Candidate may choose examination Centers within the same Region. Information bulletin of SSC will be referred for this.
(v) Rest other information , as applicable, from S No 17 to 25 will be filled in.
(vi) S No 26 to 28 will directly be generated from registration data.
(vii) Read the declarations carefully and click on “I agree” check box if, you accept the same. Enter Captcha text.
(vii) Verify the information provided by you by previewing the entered data and, then, Submit the Application
(viii) Make payment of fee as detailed above, if candidate not exempted.
(ix) On successfully submission of the application, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’. It is advised that Candidate should take printout of the application form for their own records and reference purpose.
Admit Card
Candidates who have registered successfully for the SSC CGL 2022 test will be allotted admit cards for Tier-1 examination one month before the actual date of examination.

Notes: (i) Tier-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension.

A General Intelligence & Reasoning: It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal
series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding,
Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern- folding& un-folding, Figural Pattern-folding and completion, Indexing, Address matching, Date & city matching, Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numbers coding,decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence.
B General Awareness: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates’ general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its 20 neighbouring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography,
Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research.
C Quantitative Aptitude: The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals,fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage. Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount,Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time &
Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart.
D English Comprehension: Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested.

Results
SSC will announce the result after completion of each tier test. At the end of each test based on the results, only the candidates who are selected will be allowed to attend the next test.

Yes you can..but they will mainly consider your 12th and bachelor’s degree percentage..your masters may help you for further promotions in departmental examination

For Statistics Investigator officer or Junior Statistics Officer, students with Bachelor’s in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in Mathematics at 12th are also eligible.
Hence, if that’s your case, you can also apply for the post.

Unfortunately, CGL 2018 exam is basically for graduates. If you are willing to appear for an SSC exam, then you may appear for SSC CHSL 2018 whose official notice will be released by November 2018.

Are you sure that Digital Photo and Signature sizes as per SSC CGL 2018 notification are 30-50kb(@200*230 pixel resolution) and 1-12 kb(@160*60 pixel resolution) respectively ?
