UPSC ESE (Union Public Service Commission– Engineering Services Examination) is organized by UPSC. UPSC ESE is a national level recruitment test for recruitment in Central Government and PSUs of Central Government as Group A and B Engineer Officer in various central Government department like Railways, CPWD, MES etc. This examination conducts recruitment for the following 4 streams of engineering: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication engineering.

Modes of Payment

The application fee for the UPSC ESE application form 2020 can be paid by either of the following modes:

• Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card. 
• Net Banking,
• By cash at any SBI branch.
• Note: Applicants who  opt  for pay by cash” mode” must print the system generated Pay‐ in slip during Part‐II registration   and  then, to deposit   the   fee  at   the counter   of  SBI  Branch   on   the   next working   day   only.

Step-by-Step UPSC ESE Application Procedure 

UPSC ESE application form 2020 can be submitted in online mode only.

UPSC ESE online forms are September 25, 2019 on the official website of UPSC . Portal is active now.

The application form submission for UPSC ESE 2020 will end on October 15, 2019.

UPSC ESE application process is to be filled & completed in 2 parts:

•   Part 1 ( For Registration)
•   Part 2 ( Application)

However, UPSC ESE registration consists of 4 easy steps to complete the UPSC ESE 2020 application form submission.

Apply Online

Part I (For Registration)

1 Visit the UPSC 2020 official website i.e.Part I Registration and choose the examination to apply for i.e. Engineering Services (Preliminary / Stage I) Examination .

2 Click on column Part I Registration.

3 A new page will appear , which contains Instructions for Registration. Read it carefully and then at the end of the page click ”’YES” button.

4 A new page will appear for part I registration.

5 For filling this form will require information like Name , Parents name , gender, date of birth, address, mobile number, email address, alternative email address etc.

6 After correctly filling all the desired information, check these information for correctness and then press the button Continue.

7 A registration Id will be generated , which will be used by candidate in entire exam process.

Note : In case of any mistake you can correct it and again fill the information after pressing button Reset .

Part II ( For Filling Application)

1 Go on Link Part II Application

2 Click in column Part II Registration

3 A new page will appear where in generated ( In part I Registration) Registration Id and date of birth to be filled in and after image verification Press Submit button.

4 It will take you on new page , where in required information to be filled in and then,

5 Upload Photograph & Signature

Note :The candidates must upload scanned copy of the photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.

6 Examination centers to be chosen as given in Information Bulletin.

7 Payment of application fee as detailed above either on line mode or by cash deposit in SBI.

8 Press the Submit Button.

9 After the payment is done, the candidate is required to take the print out of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future references.
