Introduction
UPSC ESE (Union Public Service Commission- Engineering Services Examination) is organized by UPSC. UPSC ESE is a national level recruitment test for placement in public sector as Class-1 Engineer Officer. This examination recruits the candidates for the 4 streams of engineering: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication engineering in Government departments.
Along with the UPSC ESE Admit card, a set of instructions pertaining to the exam and admit card are issued. Please go through each of them carefully for DO’s and DON’Ts.

UPSC ESE 2020 Admit card Date
UPSC ESE 2020 Admit card official dates are yet to be notified but the ESE Prelims 2020 admit card is expected to be released in December 2019 and from June 2020 for ESE Mains exam.
The UPSC ESE 2020 Preliminary exam is to be held on January 5, 2020.
The admit card will be made available on the UPSC website through online mode only.
On the day of examination, it is important that aspirants carry a colored copy of the UPSC ESE Admit Card and a photo identity proof as well.
Candidates, who fail to enter the Examination Hall with their Admit Card, will not be allowed to attend the exam under any circumstance.
How to download ESE Admit card?
Follow the simple steps given below to download your UPSC ESE Admit Card 2020:
STEP 1: Visit the official website: http://upsc.gov.in/
STEP 2: Click link ‘Admit Card’
STEP 3: A new page of E- Admit Cards will appear
STEP 4: Click on E-Admit Cards for various Examinations of UPSC

STEP 6: Download UPSC ESE admit card and Take a printout of the same.
Important points on ESE admit card
Hard copy of UPSC ESE Admit Card 2020 will not be sent and there will not be any intimation via Email/SMS regarding download of UPSC ESE admit card.
Take at least 2 copies of the admit card as it will be required during the counselling process as well.
The candidate must carry the Admit Card to exam centre as it is the mandatory document to appear in the exam
