Introduction
Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) is an entrance exam conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education). The state-level examination is conducted for aspirants seeking admission into M.B.A. and M.C.A. courses (Full Time/Part-Time/Evening/Distance Mode). Candidates qualifying TS ICET 2019 will be eligible for colleges of the University, along with University-affiliated colleges based on their score.

TS ICET 2019 Dates
The list of important dates related to TS ICET 2019 are as below:

TS ICET 2019 Exam Date
TS ICET 2019 is expected to be conducted on 23-24 May 2019. The exam will be conducted on two consecutive days .
Mode of Answering
TS ICET 2019 will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ).
Medium of Examination
TS ICET exam question paper will be in English, as well as Telugu; except for the last section of the paper, which will only be in English. The last section evaluates the English-communication skills of the candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for TS ICET 2019. Non-Indian Nationals may apply, depending on the conditions of the universities concerned.
Educational qualification
For MBA
Candidates must have passed a minimum 3-years bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved categories).
For MCA
In addition, the candidates applying for M.C.A. must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
Candidates who are currently in their final year of the bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply.
A qualifying degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have received recognition from the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
Residential
The candidates must satisfy the Local/Non-local status as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974.
TS ICET 2019 Application Form
TS ICET 2019 application form can be filled through an online application process.
The portal for the same is likely to be opened in the 1st week of March 2019.
Candidates can apply online for TS ICET 2019 by visiting the official website.
TS ICET 2019 Exam Fee
TS ICET 2019 application fee can be paid online through Debit/Credit card or Internet Banking. The candidates can also use the TS/AP Online Centers to pay the fee.
The application fee inclusive of registration and test fee for various categories is as below:

Documents to be Uploaded
The following documents must be kept at hand while filling the application form:
1. Scanned Photograph of the candidate – Less than 50 kb. The allowed extensions are .jpg, and .jpeg only.
2. Scanned Signature of the candidate – Less than 30 kb. The allowed extensions are .jpg, and .jpeg only.
Steps for Applying
The steps for applying to TS ICET-2019 are as follows:
Step I: Fee Payment
The first step for applying is the fee payment. After the payment of fees through any of the means (Debit/Credit card, Internet Banking, or TS/AP online centres), the applicant should keep the Payment Reference ID safe for further use.
Step II: Fill Application
After the successful payment of fees, the applicant can move to the process of filling the online application form. The form will ask for basic information, like Name, Address, Places of Study, Educational Qualifications, and so on. It will also require the applicant to give their list of preferences (three only) for the regional test centres. Scanned copies of applicant’s photograph (less than 50kb), and signature (less than 30kb) will also be attached to the form.
Step III – Preview/Submit
The applicants are given the option to preview their form before submitting. The applicant should check the form carefully for errors before final submission.
Step IV – Print Application Form
After submitting the application form, applicants must print the application form.
Step V – Affix Passport Sized Photograph
The applicant is required to affix a recent passport sized photograph (coloured) on the box provided in the print out. The photograph must be attested by either a Gazetted Officer, or the Principal of the institution where the applicant had studied last.
Admit Card
The TS ICET 2019 admit card will be issued in the 2nd week of May 2019.
Candidates can download the admit card online from the official website. The candidates must take a valid photo ID proof, their admit card, and the print-out of the application form to the examination hall.
TS ICET 2019 Exam Pattern
- Duration: The exam duration will be two and a half hours.
- Type of Questions: Only objective type (MCQ) questions will be asked in the exam.
- Total marks: 200
- Total questions: 200
- Number of sections: 3
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will carry one mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
- The section-wise distribution of marks is as follows:

Result
The result of TS ICET 2019 will be announced in the 2nd week of June 2019. The candidates can check their result online through the official website by using their login credentials.
The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 50 marks out of total 200 marks). No minimum qualifying percentage is prescribed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes.
Candidates will be given State-wide ranks in order of merit.
The candidates should keep a print out of the result for future reference.
Counseling
Once the results are published, the qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling process based on their performance. The counselling process is expected to be carried out in the month of July 2019. The candidates will have to attend the counselling in person. The candidates will be allotted seats in colleges/universities based on their rank in the merit list of TS ICET 2019 examination, availability of seats, and their preference.
