Registrations for SNAP 2018 have begun.

What is SNAP?


Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) test is a management entrance exam taken by candidates aspiring to join MBA/ MSc/ MSc (SS) programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International University. Similar to other management entrances, SNAP exam is a 120-minutes computer-based test which tests the candidates’ ability in various segments like General English; Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency; Current Affairs and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. SNAP 2018 will be conducted on 16th December 2018 and shall accept students for the 2019-2021 batch.

SNAP 2018 Exam Date


SNAP 2018 is expected to be held on 16th December 2018.

Is SNAP Exam Online?


SNAP exam 2018 will be a computer-based online test and will be conducted in a single session.

Medium of Examination


SNAP 2018 will be conducted in English. Differently abled candidates will have to contact the Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) for a help/scribe otherwise, they will be considered under the General Category.

SNAP 2018 Eligibility Criteria


Nationality


Candidates with following nationality and nationality statuses are eligible for SNAP test:

  • Indian.
  • Foreign Nationals.
  • Person of Indian Origin.
  • Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Non-Resident Indian.

Qualifying Examination


Graduates from any Recognised University/ statutory University with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) are eligible for SNAP 2018.

Candidates who have gotten their graduate degrees from Foreign University will have to retrieve the equivalence certificate and get the original verified from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Students with backlogs or students who have failed their final exams aren’t eligible for the exam.

Age Limit


There is no age restriction for appearing in the examination.

Number of Attempts


SNAP is conducted only once every year and so a candidate will be given only a single attempt to clear the exam in the particular year.

SNAP 2018 Registration


SNAP 2018 registrations have begun from 28th August 2018.

The last date to apply for the examination is 26th Nov 2018.

Candidates will have to fill the SNAP 2018 application form in online format ONLY.

SNAP 2018 Fee


The SNAP form fee for 2018 hasn’t been announced yet but is expected to be Rs.1750 based  (Excluding bank charges and taxes).

Payment can be made via the following modes-

  • Debit Card/Credit Card.
  • Netbanking for Axis & Indian Banks.
Demand Draft

DD should be drawn in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune, from any Nationalized banks.

Candidates will have to take a print out of the payment advice form, fill the DD information and sign it and then send the form and the DD via post to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat.

Photograph and Signature Specifications


Candidates will have to upload their recent scanned passport sized photograph. The photograph should not be more than 3 months old.

Application Process


SNAP Online registrations are currently closed.

  • Online Registration- Candidates will have to register their name, email ID, phone number and Date birth correctly in this step.
  • Choice of Examination City- All information except this field can be altered until the closure of applications. So, it is advised that candidates fill this step carefully.
  • Payment

SNAP 2018 Exam Pattern


SNAP exam pattern has been explained in detail under the heading.

  • Exam Duration

SNAP 2018 will be 120 minutes or 2 hours long test. No breaks will be provided in between.

  • Type of Exam

It will be a computer based online test. It will be an objective type test.

  • Maximum Marks

The maximum mark that shall be awarded is 150. Candidates will be presented with 4 choices and they will have to choose one as the answer.

  • Total number of questions

There will be 4 sections and each section will either have 40 or 30 questions and thus, a total of 150 questions will be presented to the exam taker.

  • Marking Scheme

Each correct answer will be awarded 1 marks and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

SNAP 2018 Admit Card


SNAP 2018 Admit cards will be made available on the official website from 1st December 2018.

The SNAP admit cards 2018 can be downloaded till the exam and should be produced to be allowed to appear for the exam.

SNAP 2018 Result


SNAP 2018 results will most likely be declared in the 2nd week of Jan 2019.

The candidates will be able to view and download their scorecards from the official website.

SNAP 2018 Institute Registration


Following the release of scorecards, candidates will have to register for institute selection. In this step, the candidates will be given a chance to select the programme and institute of their choice. Post this the institute shall declare the list of selected candidates.
