Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute (OR) 3. M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years (OR) 4. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years. 3. Selection Procedure
The selection procedure consists of an online examination in two phases (i.e.) Phase 1 & Phase 2 followed by an interview.
The examination pattern for the Officers in Gr B (DR)- General is as follows:
Phase 1:
Total marks: 200
Total time: 120 minutes, with separate timings for each section.

Only those candidates who clear the cut-off sufficiently will be shortlisted for the phase-2 examinations.

5. How to Apply
Step 1: Log on to: www.rbi.org.in
Step 2: Click on the “Opportunities @ RBI” section and navigate to the “Current vacancies” tab. Then click on the “vacancies” option and choose the relevant advertisement to open the application form.
Step 3: If you are visiting for the first time then you will need to register by selecting the hyperlink “Click here for New Registration” by providing your name, mobile number, and email ID.
Step 4: For the subsequent visits, you can use the same login details and complete the application form. Fill in all the required details related to your biodata carefully in the application form.
Step 5: The following documents need to be uploaded by the candidates before completing the registration.
- Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
- Signature (with black ink)
- Left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)
- Handwritten declaration
The content of the declaration is as follows:
“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
Note: The above declaration needs to be written only in the English language, and no other language is permitted.
Step 6: Click on the “Complete Registration” button to save all the details and submit the application
Step 7: You will be redirected to the “Payment” tab where payment needs to be made and click on submit to complete the process.
Note: On a successful transaction, a receipt will be generated. The candidates are required to save the receipt and the completed application form for reference purposes in the future.

Before applying online, candidates should-
- Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under Guideline for photograph & signature scan and upload.
- Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process. Bank may send call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. Under no circumstances, a candidate should share with /mention e mail id to any other person. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile no. before applying on-line and must maintain that email account and mobile number.
Following steps are needed to complete the application:

Step 2: To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
Step 3: In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
Step 4: Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
