Introduction


JEECUP 2019 is a State Level entrance Examination conducted for aspirants seeking admissions into Polytechnic colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh. JEECUP 2019 scores are essential for Diploma/Post Diploma/ Post Graduate, Diploma in Engineering, Technology and Management admissions to Polytechnic colleges in the state of UP. The expected date for the release of official JEECUP 2019 notification will fall in the last week of December 2018.

Contrary to popular belief, the exam is actually called UPJEE (Polytechnic) with JEECUP being the organizing body.

JEECUP 2019 Exam Date


JEECUP 2019 is expected to be conducted by 4th week of Apr 2019.

Mode of Answering


UP JEECUP exam 2019 is conducted in Pen/Paper mode as a written test.

Medium of Examination


UP JEECUP 2019 question paper is printed in both English and Hindi, hence is bilingual.

Eligibility Criteria for JEECUP


Age Limit


The lower age limit is 14 years. There is no upper age limit to apply for JEECUP 2019.

Educational qualification


Courses Eligibility
Diploma in Engineering & Technology / Fashion Design / Home Science and Textile Design and Engineering Passed (with minimum 35%) or appearing in the 10th examination.
Agriculture Engineering
  • Passed or appearing in the 10th examination with Agriculture as subject.
  • Obtained minimum 35% marks or had Agriculture subject in class 12th.
Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice Passed or appearing in the 12th examination with Hindi & English as subjects in class 10th & 12th.
Library & Information Science Passed or appearing in the 12th examination
Diploma in Pharmacy Pass Intermediate examination with Physics & Chemistry (as a compulsory subject) along with Mathematics/Biology.
Post Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology (Tissue Culture) Passed or appearing in B.Sc with Biology, Chemistry/Biotechnology.
Post Graduate Diploma Course In possession of Bachelor degree in any stream.
Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology Passed or appearing in the 12th examination with a minimum of 35% marks in the examination.
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Passed or appearing in the 10+2 with science & secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects

JEECUP 2019 Online Form 


Candidates can apply only through the online application form for JEECUP.

JEECUP 2019 online forms were available by 4th week of Dec 2018.

JEECUP Admit Card 2019


Candidates who will register successfully for the JEECUP 2019 exam were allotted admit cards online by 2nd week of Apr 2019.

Examination Pattern


The duration for UPJEE Polytechnic exam 2019 (JEECUP) will be three hours.

The question paper shall consist of only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

A total of 400 marks will be at stake during this examination. There will be 100 MCQs presented during this duration.

However, the candidates need to careful while answering because 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer while 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.

JEECUP Counselling 2019


Post the announcement of JEECUP 2019 Results, candidates will have to undergo online counselling process where they have to fill their preference of college and course. The candidates are advised to fill their preferences, education details, and marks obtained with utmost care. Candidate will be given admission based on their rank, preference and availability of seats. The admission lists will be published on the official website post successful counseling. Candidates who are allotted seats will have to visit the allotted Institute to complete the admission process.
