Introduction
ICFAI Business School Aptitude test or IBSAT 2018 is a management entrance exam conducted by the ICFAI Business School. The exam is a gateway for admission in PGPM, MBA and PhD programmes in the 9 campuses of ICFAI across the nation. Admission to ICFAI campuses is a 3-step process formed of a written exam, followed by Group Discussion and concluding with a personal interview. The official notification of IBSAT 2018 was available from July 2018.
IBSAT exam, Symbiosis National aptitude Test (SNAP) along with Narsee Monjee Aptitude test (NMAT conducted by GMAC) form the major privately-held MBA entrance exams in India.

ICFAI College Campuses
ICFAI has 9 campuses spread throughout the country. These are:

IBSAT 2018 Exam Date
IBSAT 2018 will be conducted during the 22nd and 23rd December 2018.
Mode of Answering
IBSAT exam will be an online (computer-based) test.
Medium of Examination
IBSAT exam 2018 will be conducted in English only.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have completed 15 years of education (10+2+3, or 10+2+4) from a recognized university/institution.
Language Requirement
The candidate must have had English Medium/Language as the primary mode of examination during graduation.
For the aspirants who intend to apply with any other primary language in their graduation must submit their scores for IELTS, NELT, or TOEFL exam before 31st May 2019.
Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply. Such candidates must submit their proof of graduation before 1st November 2019.
Age Limit
There is no age-based requirement for IBSAT 2018.

IBSAT 2018 registration portal is currently closed.
IBSAT 2018 Registration Fee
The registration fee for IBSAT exam 2018 was INR 1,800 for all the categories.
Fees can be remitted via either of the following means:
- Online via Credit/Debit Cards
- In cash, when you purchase the form from the IBS branch.
Documents to be Uploaded
A passport size photograph (colored) | 25Kb – JPG or GIF format | 140 X 160 pixels.
Application Process
The registration process for IBSAT 2018 has been described for both the formats:
Offline Mode
The application form/bulletin must be purchased from IBS Branch or Campus located across India. The candidate must go through the bulletin thoroughly before applying.
- After filling in the details, a passport sized photograph must be pasted in the space provided in the form.
- The candidate must ensure the form is error-free.
- Submit the form to the admission counter and collect the acknowledgment slip.
- The acknowledgement slip must be kept safely for future reference.
Online Mode
- Visit the official website for IBSAT 2018.
- Enter relevant details.
- Upload the documents.
- Pay the registration fees.
- Print the completed application form.
After the successful IBSAT 2018 registration, all the candidates have to choose the exam date and slots as per their convenience. The slot booking commenced from the 3rd week of November 2018.
IBSAT 2018 Slot Booking
After successful registration for IBSAT 2018, applicants will have the liberty to choose an exam date of their choice from the ones available.
This activity is called Slot Booking and shall commence from 3rd week of November 2018.

IBSAT Admit Card 2018
IBSAT admit card 2018 were available online during the 4th week of November 2018.
All the candidates are requested to download it from the official website and take a print out of the same. Link for the same will be provided for the same.
No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card.
IBSAT 2018 Exam Pattern
IBSAT 2018 is a 3-stage process to enter for a PGPM, MBA and PhD. programmes in the ICFAI Business School campuses.
The 3 stages include a computer-based test, group discussion, and personal interview.
Only the candidates who clear the first stage will be called for the Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
Stage I: Computer-based Exam
IBSAT exam is a 2-hour long computer-based test. It will be an objective type exam with 140 questions.

Each question will carry one mark each. There is no negative marking for an incorrect response.
Stage II: Group Discussion
Those who successfully clear the IBSAT entrance exam are eligible to appear for the Group Discussion round. Here, a group of 8-10 candidates will be given a topic to discuss for 15 minutes. In this round, the candidate’s ability of analytics, communication, and teamwork is thoroughly tested.
Stage III: Personal Interview
Here, the candidates will give one-on-one interviews in front of a panel who will judge their aptitude, confidence, communication skills, and attitude. There is no fixed amount of time for the interview.
IBSAT Result 2018
IBSAT result 2018 (entrance exam) was declared on the official website during the 1st week of January 2019.
The final IBSAT result 2018 will come out during the 1st week of March 2019.
Selection Procedure
A candidate’s final admission will be decided based on the IBSAT score card, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
ICFAI University also offers admission on the basis of the CAT/NMAT/GMAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/State Level Test score cards.
