Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) is a national-level entrance examination held annually by Delhi University. The exam is a gateway for Delhi University UG admissions in courses like BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), BA (Hons) Business Economics and BBA (FIA). DU JAT 2018 application form is expected to be released in 2nd week of June 2018.

DU JAT 2018 Exam Date
DU JAT 2018 exam is expected to be conducted in the 2nd week of July 2018.
Mode of Answering
DU JAT 2018 will be a pen/paper mode examination. Candidates must use Blue or Black Ballpoint pen only.
Medium of Examination
In DU JAT 2018 English has been prescribed as the only medium of examination.
DU JAT 2018 Eligibility
Nationality
Candidates from other countries are also eligible to apply. They will have to register themselves under the Foreign Students Registry. Admission should be done on individual merit.
Age limit
There is no minimum age bar for admission to program covered under DU JAT 2018.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- Both General and OBC category candidates must possess 60% aggregate in 12th while for reserved category candidates it is 50%.
- Candidates who have appeared for XII class improvement papers are not eligible to apply for DU JAT for the current year. They may apply next year.
DU JAT 2018 Application Form
Candidates can apply only through the online application process. The application portal is currently closed.
DU JAT 2018 registrations are expected to be opened by May 10, 2018.
The DU JAT forms will be available at official website of University of Delhi.
Application fee
Application fee can be paid only by online transaction. The application fee for various categories is tabulated below:

- Self-Attested ID Proof (Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ Pan Card/ Voter ID/ Passport) – 25kb-50Kb – JPG/JPEG/PNG/PDF Formats.
- Self attested Class 10 and Class 12 Certificates – Max 100kb – JPG/JPEG/PNG/PDF Formats.
- Self attested copy of category certificate (if applicable) – Max 100kb – JPG/JPEG/PNG/PDF Formats.
Application Procedure
Accessing the link: The first step of DU JAT 2018 form is Registration. To register, the candidates will have to click on the link www.du.ac.in. It will lead to the online registration portal and candidates will have to click on ‘New Registration’ button.
Online Registration: Next, the candidates need to read all the given instructions and then enter the following details:

- Confirm E-mail ID
- Password
- Confirm Password
- Mobile Number
Applicant details, as per Class X certificate:
- Name (First name, Middle name, Last name)
- Date of Birth
- Category
- Minorities (If Applicable)
- PWD (If Applicable)
- Gender
- Nationality
- CW (If Applicable)
- Mother/Father/Guardian’s Name
- 2 Alternate Mobile numbers
- Captcha Code
Confirmation E-Mail and SMS: Once registered, the candidates will receive a confirmation e-mail and SMS. It will contain an activation link. Only after accessing the link, the candidates will be able to log-in and apply online for DU JAT 2018.
Login: To log-in, candidates will have to submit registered E-Mail ID and Password.
Postal Details: After uploading the documents, the candidates will be required to submit Postal details.
Filling the DU JAT Application Form: Now the application form of DU JAT will open. In it, the candidates will have to submit Personal and Education related details.
Courses: Following the step above, the candidates will be required to select Course and Exam Centre.
Download the Completed application Form: When all the above steps are concluded, the candidates will be required to review the application form and make the final submit. The candidates are advised to download the filled-in DU JAT 2018 application form.
DU JAT 2018 Admit Card
Candidates who will successfully register for the exam will be allotted their DU JAT 2018 admit cards in the 1st week of June 2018.
Candidates can access their DU JAT admit cards online by providing their login credentials.
To download the hall tickets, a candidate needs to follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website
- Look for the admit card link on the homepage and click on it
- Enter details like registration/ application number and enter submit
- The admit card will appear on the screen; download the same
- Take a print out of the admit card
DU JAT 2018 Exam pattern
Duration
The exam duration will be two hours.
Type of Question
There will be objective type (MCQ) questions asked in the exam.
Total marks
The test will amount to total 200 marks.
Total questions
A total of 100 questions will be asked in the examination.
Marking Scheme
3 marks will be given for each correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Exam Sections
The test will comprise of 4 sections:
- Quantitative Ability.
- Reasoning and Analytical ability.
- General English.
- Business and General Awareness.

DU JAT 2018 Results
Students can check the DU JAT 2018 Result from the third week of July 2018.
Name of the shortlisted candidate will be announced on admission portal www.admisson.du.ac.in. DU JAT 2018 scores are valid for one year only.
Counseling
In the 2-tier selection process of DU JAT 2018, 85% of weight is given to Written Exam and rest 15% to Group Discussion & Interview have been prescribed.
Merit list is prepared after completion of written exam and group discussion & interview. Accordingly, merit list admission will be accomplished.
The selected candidates will have to visit the of Delhi University website for exercising the option of college/course selection. The allotment of course/college will be done by the University based on the option exercised by the applicants, which would be final and no change is allowed at any stage.
Documents required at the time of GD/PI
- DU JAT admit card 2018 with attested photograph and its photocopy.
- Attested copy of Senior Secondary Examination mark sheet.
- Attested photocopy of result of qualifying exam (12th standard).
- Category Certificate, if applicable.
- Latest Income Certificate of the parents (applicable only to the candidates belonging to OBC category) original and one self-attested photocopy.
