Introduction
Central Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CTET is used to recruit teachers for Classes I to VIII of central government schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas etc. CTET 2019 will likely be held only once, unlike previous years in which it was held twice a year. CTET will consist of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach Classes I to V and Paper II is for those who wish to teach Classes VI to VIII. If a candidate clears both the papers, he/she is eligible to teach students from Classes I to VIII.
