Job Description and Responsibilities:
(i) Main Activity of job is installation and commissioning of projects in Field on pan India basis especially in north-east India and J&K.
(ii) Other related activities are to develop Test Set ups for Testing of PCB/Module/ Unit Level .
(iii) Develop ATEs (Automatic Test Equipments) for Hardware Testing using automation tools like Boundary Scan/Flying Probe tester/LAB View, etc.
(iv) Testing & Troubleshooting of in house designed embedded (FPGA based) PCBs/Modules/Systems.
(v) Offering of Equipments to customer for Quality Checks.
Terms of Engagement:
Trainee Engineer-I will be engaged initially for a period of One year which may be extended upto a maximum of Three years (including initial period) based on requirement and individual performance.
Remuneration of the Post:
Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration per month as following:
1st Year – Rs. 25,000/-
2nd Year – Rs. 28,000/-
3rd Year – Rs. 31,000/-.
Notes: (i) Selected candidates are required to be covered under a medical insurance scheme for a sum of Rs.2 lakhs per annum and submit the same on joining.
(ii) In addition to the remuneration indicated above, a consolidated amount of Rs. 10,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
Eligibility for Trainee Engineer -I
1 Qualification
Candidate must have persuaded full time (4 years) BE/B.Tech course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines –
Electronics/Electronics & Communication/ E&T/ Telecommunication
Note: (i) Candidate of General, OBC and EWS category should be first Class in the indicated qualification.
(ii) For SC, ST and PWD candidates should be pass class.
(iii) Method of conversion of CGPA to percentage has to be attached.
2 Post Qualification Experience (as on 01.04.2021):
For BEL Recruitment (Trainee engineer-I), Candidates should have minimum 6 (Six) months of post qualification industry experience in the following are as is desirable:
Experience/Knowledge on:
(i) Ethernet communication 10Mbps to 10Gpbs, LAN & WAN Concepts
(ii) Ethernet Layers (TCP/IP), IPv4, IPv6
(iii) Switching equipments like Routers, Switches, Hubs, Etc
(iv) Ethernet & Optical Test Instruments
(v) TDM, PDH(E1-E4), SDH(STM-1to STM-64) Communication
(vi) Voltage regulators, Inverters, Batteries used in communication equipments
(vii) EMI/EMC standards and testing methodologies.
Notes : (a) Candidates possessing Industrial experience only need to apply.
(b) Academy/Teaching/Research work experience will not be considered as relevant industrial experience.
(c) Candidate should posses Experience certificates/Documents issued by the previous and present employer clearly indicating period of employment and post held.
(d) The decision of the Selection Committee with respect to industrial experience will be final. Work experience indicated without supporting documents will not be considered and is liable to be rejected/cancelled without any prior intimation.
3 Age Limit (01/04/2021)
Upper Age Limit: Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.04.2021.

Aspirant candidates to apply on line mode only for BEL Trainee Engineer-I: and there is no alternative mode is available.
1 Following documents and pre requisites are to be kept in readiness by the candidates before starting to apply on line as these are to be submitted:-
(a) Passport size Photograph:- (jpg or png, Maximum 1 MB).
(b) Signature :- (jpg or png, Maximum 1 MB).
(c) Mobile number ( to be kept live till end of selection process).
Note: Information pertaining to the written test / interview will be sent by e-mail to the email Id furnished by the candidate. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidate.
(d) Valid e-mail id, which is to be entered in the application form.
(e) 10th Standard marks card (as proof of date of birth)
(f) B.E/ B.Tech. Degree certificate (as applicable).
Note :- In case of CGPA or credits system of assessments, the candidates are required to indicate the formula for conversion of CGPA/ Credits to percentage in accordance with the respective University norms.
(g) Final consolidated marks sheet.
(h) . Caste / Community/ Disability certificate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD respectively. Candidates claiming reservation under any of the above categories are required to submit the certificate in the prescribed format.

(i) . Post qualification experience certificate/s from previous / current employer. Where current employment certificate is not produced the offer of current employment, latest pay slip and employee ID proof should be compulsorily attached.

Note: (i) The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch). Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment.
(ii) Candidates can also make the payment by physically approaching SBI branch. SBI branch is to be selected in the payment option and download pre-printed challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit the application fee (as applicable) plus applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria with respect to. qualification and experience would be allotted weightage in following manner:-

Notes: (i) Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to percentage of marks as per the guidelines provided by their University.
(ii) Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on marks obtained in BE/B.Tech and number of years of experience as indicated above in the ratio of 1:5 and only those candidates shortlisted will be called for the interview.
(iii) The names of shortlisted candidates for interviews will be notified on Company’s website.
Call Letter for Interview:
(i) Candidates who have been shortlisted for the interview has to download their interview call letter.
(ii) Candidates are requested to print the call letter and comply with the instructions contained therein.
(iii) It is to be noted that call letters will be sent through email only.
Result:
(i) The results of the final selection will be available on BEL website through query mode.
(ii) Short listing of candidates will be carried out purely based on the information declared by candidates in the online application form. If at any further stage of selection, it is found that candidates have declared false information w.r.t. their credentials, BEL reserves the right to debar them at any stage of selection.
