Introduction

All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test  , more famously known as AIAPGET  , conducts one of the most famous test similar to NEET every year , for the students who are interested in MD/MS courses in Ayurveda , Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy system of medicine.  AIAPGET is conducted by The All India Institute of the Ayurveda (AIIA),  based in Sarita Vihar , New Delhi.

This test was introduced in and from the year 2017 , when it was decided that other state level entrance exam will not be acceptable for the admission into this course .

It is an online computer based examination .

AIAPGET 2020 Important Dates:

 AIAPGET Date of Examination

Exam date for AIAPGET  2020 has not  been declared yet and notified in due course of time.

Mode of Answering

The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only . 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Medium of Examination

AIAPGET  is conducted across the country and the only medium for examination is English  .

AIAPGET Eligibility Criteria

To appear for the AIAPGET  examination, certain criteria  have  been issued, they are as follows :

• Candidates appearing  for AIAPGET 2020 must have BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS degree or even provisional BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS pass certificate from a recognized university that will be issued as per the provision of the IIMC 1970/HCC 1973 Act.
• Candidates must have a permanent or provisional certificate for the degree courses of BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS issued by the CCIM/CCH/University
• Student must have done an internship of at least one year before they appear for AIAPGET .

How to Apply?

Steps for AIAPGET  application :

1. Visit the official  website of AIAPGET  that is http://www.aiapget.com/ .   
2. Candidate can fill their application form for AIAPGET  2020 from 06 May 2020 .
3. Register online with unique email Id and mobile number .
4. Note down the system generated Application number.
5. Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (between 20 kb – 50 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (between 10 kb – 20 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
6. Make thepayment of fee using ICICI/Syndicate/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI/Paytm and keep proof of fee paid.
7. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated even after payment of fee, then, the transaction shall be cancelled and amount will be refunded into account of the candidate. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
8. Once this entire process is done, candidate must keep a print out of the confirmation page for future references .
9. Candidates must note that e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own as, all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on e-mail address or SMS on given Mobile Number only.

Note: (i) All the above Steps can be done together or at separate times.

(ii) Online information filled in by candidates like name of candidate, contact/ address details, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, date of birth, etc will be treated as correct/final. Any request for changes in information after the closure of correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances.

(iii) Any request to change the Examination Centre, Date and subject provided on the Admit Card shall not be considered under any circumstances.

Application Fee

• Candidates can pay their fees through online payment mode such as Credit cards , debit cards and also through internet banking. No other mode of payment will be accepted  .
• The exam fee for both male , female and transgender are as under:-
• General/OBC (NCL) : 2500/-
• General EWS : 2250/-
• SC, ST, PwD and Transgender: 1750/-
• Note: (i) Applicable Service/Processing charges & GST are to be paid by the candidate.

Documents required during Examination

The documents required and that are a must that should be carried by all  the candidates are as follows :

• AIAPGET 2020 Admit card .
• Valid Photo ID proof

AIAPGET Admit Card

The Admit Card will be available on the official website of AIAPGET and it will be issued to only those candidates who have successfully done the entire procedure from 20 Jun 2020 onward. 

Candidates need to download and print the admit card and paste one passport size photo on the admit card.

Examination Pattern

The exam pattern followed for AIAPGET 2020 is a follows :

• The mode for exam is online .
• The exam is taken for a duration of 120 minutes .
• The total marks allotted for the exam is 480 marks .
• 1 marks is rewarded for each correct answer and 0.25 is deducted for each wrong answers .
• There will be 120 Questions question in MCQ (Multi Choice Questions) Format .

AIAPGET Results

AIAPGET  2020 results will be declared in the 3^rd week of July  ,2020 . Notified later on.

Candidates can check their result from the official website using their provisional registration number . This scorecard can be used for only a single year.

Candidates should keep their scorecard till the end of the entire admission process and they can apply for all State/UTs/University with this score card . 

Counselling 

Counselling is organized by the State/UTs/University and they call for students .

Admission will be based on the AIAPGET  merit list , choice of candidates and the fulfillment of their domicile criteria , guidelines , etc.

Candidates should carry the following things when called for counselling :

• AIAPGET 2020 Admit Card .
• AIAPGET 2020 result print out .
• Graduation marksheet and certificate and even internship certificate .
• Passport size photographs .

Students must be present on the specified dates they are called for .

Q. If I forget the application number?

Go on link : https://www.ntaaiapget.nic.in/online/GetCandAppno.aspx and fill in certain information in form and submit.

• If my score in 10 and 10+2 level is excellent , but in the AIAPGET is average , will that affect my counselling  , or will I get some benefit for my 10+2 level marks?

10^th and 12^th results do play an important role in the selection, however this will clearly depend upon the institution  you are applying for and more on your Graduation results and internship .

• Can I apply for AIAPGET even if I have no proper internship done ?

Internship is a must at graduation level , so how is it possible to not have done an internship properly . Yes if your internship feedback is not up to the mark that’s a different issue  but  internship is a must in order to finish your graduation .

• Is there an advantage of being from the lower caste?

Yes , it is clearly beneficial . You must have the authentic proof to show the institution that you belong from the lower caste .
