This article lists some of the popular SSC CGL books helpful in preparation of the popular exam. The Combined Graduate level exam (CGL), conducted by SSC is one of the most popular recruitment exams in India. Every year the SSC CGL exam is a gateway to subordinate staff recruitment in India at different central govt. departments. The official notification for SSC CGL 2017 has been published on 16th May 2017, with last date of applying falling on 16th June 2017.

Date of Examination
The first tier of SSC CGL 2017 will be conducted between 1st August and 20th August 2017.
Similarly, the tier II of SSC CGL 2017 will be conducted in between 10th Nov 2017 and 11th Nov 2017.
Upon clearing the two tiers successfully, candidate can attempt the III tier of SSC CGL 2017, to be held on 21st Jan 2018.
The 4th Tier of SSC CGL 2017 will be conducted on Feb. 2018.
