Basis for Admission
IIIT Bangalore is expected to use JEE Main 2018 (Paper 1) (NOT JEE (Main) AIR). score for Integrated M.Tech (iMTech) admissions.
Candidate must be a 1st class pass in 12th std examination.
Applicant should have compulsorily studied Mathematics in 12th std as one of the subjects.

How to Apply?
Currently, the IIIT Bangalore B Tech Admissions 2018 portal is closed.
Candidates can apply for admission to the Integrated M Tech Program in the 1st week of May 2018 from the official website of IIIT Bangalore.
The application fee to be paid for Integrated M.Tech (often mispronounced as IIIT Bangalore B Tech course) is Rs. 1000 (Non-Refundable).

The whole application process is divided into 4 major steps:
- Candidate Registration.
- Application fee submission (Rs. 1,000).
- Confirmation of registration by the candidate through Email.
- Logging in, completing the rest of application and final submission.
This course at IIIT Bangalore will be a 05-year long dual-degree course (B.Tech + M.Tech).
At the UG level, candidates can choose either of the following 2 branches:-
- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
- Electronics and Communication Engineering ( ECE).
Following specializations will be available further for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) students:-
- Theoretical Computer science.
- Data Science.
- Software Engineering.
Similarly, following specializations will be available further for Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) students:-
- Microelectronics and VLSI.
- Networking and communication.
- Signal processing.
At the end of the five years term, successful students will be conferred upon M.Tech degree.
It is also notified by the Institution that an additional B.Tech degree will be awarded subject to pending clarification on UGC notification regarding the matter of awarding two degrees at the time of graduation.
